“On a day trip yesterday with 3 of my sisters, and we decided to give Trotters a try. We were glad we did! Everything we ate was so good! From fried chicken legs, ham, fish. All vegetables tasted home cooked, and there were lots of them. Mac & cheese was delicious, cheesy & creamy! Our waitress was sweet & helpful. We were sorry we didn’t get her name. You can’t go wrong here if you want a good country cooking buffet. Hope we can make it back one day!“

“Wow! Rootimentary is by far my favorite restaurant! The magic made by Chef Caleb in the kitchen is indescribable! From the Brussel Sprout app to the Meatloaf Wellington to the Bacon Bourbon Bread Pudding, it’s all phenomenal with a new burst of flavor and taste in each bite! The service is impeccable! Their craft cocktails are one of a kind. They have a huge bourbon and wine selection for the old fashion lovers and wine connoisseurs! I enjoy sitting at the bar and watching the chefs prepare food while having great conversations with the bartenders, servers, other guests, and owners. Jess and Caleb (owners) almost always stop and talk with customers about their dining experience. At this point, I consider them friends! The ambience, esp lighting, and decor is great! I love coming in and trying new desserts and steak, chicken, and fish preparations! It’s almost impossible to explain the elevated menu which changes often to allow explorations of your pallet! The prices are affordable and similar to restaurants in Greenville! I’m so proud that we have Rootimentary, a hidden gem, in Laurens! If you haven’t tried it, you’re really missing out on an unforgettable dining experience!!“
