“By 11:30 a.m. the line had already begun to lengthen. And it's only a Monday. Something must be cooking in the kitchen. This converted Pizza Hut asserts Amish-style cooking with a protein and two sides for only $8, which includes bread and a dessert. Get in line, read the board, and tell the server what to scoop onto your plate. Find a table and pay when you're done. Simple.Locals quickly filled the diner garnering plates full of fried chicken, meatloaf, or chicken and dumplings, with sides of mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, green beans, butter beans, or steamed cabbage. I don't know what the Amish might think, but after a few "darlings," honeys," and "y'alls," plus the obligatory bowed blessing sprinkled about, everyone seemed happy as a preacher after church.Looking for southern comfort food served quickly by friendly people? “Husband and I were visiting his home town Greenwood SC. And stopped at Cracker Barrel for brunch. Food was amazingly good! Although they were short staffed the food came out on time and just melted in my mouth!!!! So good keep up the good work.“
“I have followed this restaurant on social media for over a year, and I finally got a chance to go there today for their soul food buffet…. and I was not disappointed in any way! The service was top notch- welcoming and attentive wait staff and the owner even came out to greet tables. And now let’s get to the food- Amazing!! There was not 1 single thing I tried that was not flavorful and delicious, and that’s rare when it comes to restaurants these days. From the meats and sides to the banana pudding and homemade cakes.. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and we will definitely be back!!“
