Inakaya Japanese Restaurant Reviews
Sushi chef is from Kobe Japan and uses a combination of fresh local fish and flies some fish in from Japan. Best nigiri that I have had in the Carolinas with many fishes I have only seen in Japan.
Relaxing atmosphere during lunch. Great food and the service was very decent
Highly recommend sitting at the Sushi bar. It will get you the BEST service and experience. Other areas are lacking in service. Best sushi and variety that I've found in the area.

Inakaya Japanese Restaurant offers a unique dining experience that caters to a wide range of preferences. With its spacious, Japanese-inspired interior featuring traditional decor and a display case of antiques, customers can enjoy a family outing, intimate date, or social gathering at the bar. The restaurant serves exceptional food, including popular dishes such as the Phoenix roll, Firecracker, and spicy tuna rolls. The seafood ramen stands out with its savory broth filled with shrimp and crab, making it a great choice for a hearty meal. Fried tempura vegetables offer a lighter option with a crispy texture, perfect for sharing.
The establishment is praised for its outstanding service, with friendly and attentive staff who provide helpful recommendations, creating a welcoming ambiance for both first-timers and regulars. Although some diners have mentioned that tables in the middle lack a vibe, the overall inviting atmosphere keeps guests coming back. Inakaya is a must-visit destination for sushi lovers, and for anyone seeking authentic Japanese cuisine in Columbia, it remains a top choice.
