This and Asian bistro are horrible. The atmosphere is amazing but the service is awful. This is the second time I've been here and they gave me the wrong thing again. I'm never coming back. Also, the gyoza are awful is you get the pan seared... it's lacking the sear and it was cold. The katsu is tough as well. I can't in here starving, i ate as much as i could handle an just stopped. I'll find Japanese curry somewhere else. Go to yu noodle if you want good service and food.

Me and my boyfriend come here at least once a week, if not more! Most of the time the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is very laid back and you can be introduced to new anime or catch up on the classics if that's your thing! The guy in the kitchen that really likes One Piece makes the food just right and is super chill -- we know if he is there then we're in for a good time.

That being said, the service has gone down. There are around 4 hostesses, and only one of them is good in terms of service. We do not expect extra treatment just because we come in frequently, but I tip 20% every time and a few of the hostesses (a short one with glasses, the tall blonde, and the tall dark-haired one) forget to bring our utensils half the time, and act annoyed when we come in and they have to take their eyes off their phones. I also order the same exact thing every time I come in and only one hostess actually remembers and will ask.

I wish I knew her name -- she is short and to the point, but always on task and doing what needs to be done! I've watched some of the other hostesses leave bowls on tables for extended periods of time or let food sit because they are attached to their devices. As someone who also has a more laid back job like that, I can't imagine treating regulars the way a few of them do. Because of it we have reduced our visits, but still worth it when the right people are there!

Yummy rice ball with salmon! Gyoza comes pan seared or fried. The ramen is delicious and flavorful. Two televisions playing anime shows.

I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and Katsu set up. The ramen was just ok. Rather bland to me I ended up reseasoning the broth. The noodles and vegetables were good. The katsu was overcooked and unflavored no seasoning in the breading the meat was chewy . I was very underwhelmed.
