Food was so so. I had oxtails. Seemed like old was mixed in with new. The cabbage wasnt impressive. That was a 1st for me. Prices and portions were good. Didnt quite have the island taste I was looking for

I love the j*** chicken, peas and rice,with the collard greens. I stop here for lunch and the staff is very friendly. The portions are satisfying. The food always makes me feel better when I've had a tough day. "Comfort food "!!

Read the reviews, main gripe was poor attitude and service. Decided I could live with that for good food. Went in with my wife and loved it. I love little hole in the wall places with real food. Did not expect to like the rice so much as it's normally a cheap filler to a meal but the flavor was amazing! I imagine that if I wasn't a white boy from CA, and my grandma was Jamaican..this would be what I grew up on. Got a piece of rum cake to go and it was as from scratch as something...read full review
