We consider ourselves regulars at this restaurant and have usually had very pleasant experiences here, which made our most recent visit especially disappointing.
When we first sat down at the bar we initially received attentive service, but when we wanted to order a second round we waited more than 15 minutes for service and then experienced another long delay when ordering dinner. Our salad arrived after we had nearly finished our main course, and it was missing some of the listed ingredients. The pizza came out cold, with very little sausage, and the crust was so thin and dry that it could almost be described as a cracker. The tacos were just okay, but also had very meager ingredients.
We really do love this place and have enjoyed it many times in the past, but both the service and food quality were well below what we have come to expect. Unfortunately, this has not been the first sub par experience during our last few visits. I truly hope they are able to get back to the level of service and quality that made us regulars in the first place.

We are Tazza regulars, but recently the menu has changed and my favorite meal, which is the harissa bowl with adobo chicken… Now only offers dried pieces of grilled chicken 50th that look like little squares that come from a frozen bag of chicken. Ruined the meal. The adobo chicken was what made that meal. And the steak now comes with french fries and you cannot have the former potatoes anymore. Those are our two favorites. Don’t know what’s happening with the menu at Tazza.

If I could give this a 0 stars, I would.
The server was a sweetheart. But the bartender, female with curly dark hair and it was up; she was awful!!! I have a severe citrus allergy that apparently she did know about. And I watched her make my drink and I did not see her walk over to the sink and wash her hands before making my drink after touching lemons. I asked the server if the bartender knew about my allergy, and she said yes. And then I mentioned that about the not washing hands that I thought. The server walked over to the bartender and the bartender I believe blatantly lied to her and said she did wash her hands even though I saw nothing of that. Also proceeded to roll her eyes and look irritated. Sorry my allergy that is dangerous is such a problem for her. Absolutely awful! Food wasn't the best either. My husband said his pizza had a lot of flour at the bottom and was dried out. But hey we've had not so great food before, the real issue is the bartender and her attitude over my allergy that I cannot control. Took two Benadryl because I was that anxious and terrified and do feel a bit off. Will never come back!!!
I've been to Tazza Kitchen before and have always had a good experience, which is why this visit was so disappointing. We sat at the bar and waited at least 10 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us. When she finally came over, she seemed rushed, impatient, and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her.
We ordered drinks and asked for about five minutes to decide on our food, but she didn't return for around 15 minutes. After we placed our to-go order, the food came out fairly quickly, but it then sat in front of us for another 10 minutes before she came back so we could pay. By that point, our patience was gone, and we were ready to leave.
The food was still very good, which is the only reason I'm not writing the restaurant off completely. However, the service at the bar was one of the worst experiences I've had in a long time. I hope this was just an off day because I'd like to come back. That said, if that same bartender is working, I'll probably choose somewhere else.
Love Tazza! Anne was the best server! Lunch is fantastic but the brunch is the absolute best. Love the hash bowl, crab cake Benedict, and breakfast pizza. Tacos are great for lunch

Let me start by saying, my wife and I are frequent customers to Tazza. We bring friends and family when they come to town to visit us. Our server (I can’t remember his name) provided good service and was attentive. On June 7th, a little after 5pm when Tazza opened my wife and I came in for dinner and we were seated by the host outside. When we sat down at the table, my wife noticed that the table was dirty and wanted to move to the next table over. As she was moving to the next table, an employee at the front door started to yell in an aggressive manner “you guys need to go to the hostess if yall want to move to another table”. My wife tried to explain to her that the table was dirty and that we were going to speak to the host. This employee continued to yell aggressively as my wife attempted to deescalate the situation. The employee continued to berate us in front of other customers that were attempting to enter the restaurant. We felt confused, scared, and quite embarrassed. I did go speak with the host who approved us moving to the next table over. Afterwards, when the sever came out we asked for the manager to explain the situation. The manager was apologetic about the situation but never came back to check on us or follow up on what happened. We felt the service recovery wasn’t great and in turn felt like the apology was half hearted. Once again, our actual server was amazing but after today’s event I don’t feel comfortable coming back nor bringing my friends and family back to Tazza Kitchen Trenholm Plaza if the staff isn’t held to higher behavior standards.

Had a great experience at Tazza Kitchen. Ann Marie was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure my meal was handled carefully with my allergy concerns in mind. Even though they couldn’t remove the tomatoes from the steak, she made sure my plate had the allergy sign and checked in to ensure everything was right. Her attention to detail and care were really appreciated.

The food and drinks were amazing! Atmosphere was great. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We happened to go on a busy weekend so it was a little bit slow, but the staff was friendly and we're obviously trying

Always enjoy my favorite lunch of meatball appetizer with friends. Dine outside if you need a more quiet one on one experience. It can get loud inside during peak lunch time. I enjoy both.

Always great food with a rotating menu. If you want to chat over your meal, ask to be away from the kitchen area, its open and can get loud.

I've come a few times and absolutely love the atmosphere, food and drinks! Brussels are my favorite! I will admit the last time I went the shrimp and grits were not as great as it has been prior.
