“This location has the best waitress and her name is Ari. I have had her twice now and she is so welcoming, friendly and so sweet. We look forward to seeing her again. The food was delivered quickly, even with a full house. We enjoy our visits as the atmosphere is very pleasant. Thank you and we'll be back.“

“This is a very scenic place to eat. The staff were all friendly and attentive. My meal left something to be desired.I ordered the catfish and the batter was hard and without removing it, you couldn't taste the fish. Not sure where the cook is from, but people around Horry and surrounding areas do not fry fish like that. Such a shame to be located on the river front and not be able to enjoy fresh fried fish...“

“The best waffles with blueberries and cream!!! Very good home fries. My husband had the breakfast buffet and said it was very good. We enjoyed this place . Atmosphere was a little loud but still pleasant. Our server was super friendly and brought me sweet tea without asking if I wanted a refill. This is the place to go. We are from here and we love our little diner!!!“

“Our family had the best experience at The Grumpy Monk at Broadway on the Beach! Dawson was excellent - we came back again two days later and requested his section…. He greeted us at our table with the same drinks we had the previous time. Wow. Now that is serving your customer! The food did not disappoint either. Fried pickle chips and the burgers and wings were amazing. We will definitely be back a third time!“
