I do not go to fast food restaurants often because I hate bad service. I had a very long hard week and I was starving so I decided to try this Popeyes, And I will let you know I was so pleasantly surprised! The food and service was exceptionally well. The dining area was a little small, but that is becoming the normal for these types of restaurants of today. They are more geared towards take out and drive thru. The dining area was clean and tidy.
Ordered 6 bone IN honey bbq wings. Got 1 bone in and 5 not, with a tiny bit of sauce, so tiny that I turned the dry wings over and there wasn’t any sauce in the tray to wipe it around.. Just tell me, don’t try to sneak it by, ya know? Spicey chicken sandwich, pretty good, mashed potatoes not good at all, gravy tasted old. Red beans and rice, not so good. So for 29$ the tea was decent with the couple little pieces of ice, the other sandwich meal was ok.
