⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 Review – Sonic Drive-In, Darlington, SC
Visited around 5 PM on a Friday, and I understand that’s a peak time—things were definitely busy. Stalls 1–8 were full, and while stalls 9 & 10 are marked for mobile pickup, the app wouldn’t recognize them. Stalls 11–14 were hit-or-miss (maybe two working), also full, and the drive-thru had a line.

Manager is nasty and not friendly at all made a mistake on order and she would not try to fix it before it was made! So don’t order ahead y’all!!
Was good just a little bit of a wait but not long and they did not hear when i wanted to add a drink but no biggie

Recently, the restaurant has been busy with new staff and ownership training, and while mistakes happen, the owner was very nice and apologetic. Some customers experienced rude service at the stall, but car hop Amarion saved the day with high-level customer service. The parking area is clean and quiet, and food arrives hot and fresh, though some items like the fried pickles have a soft crust and small portions. Despite mixed experiences, Sonic Drive-In is recommended for its tasty food and great service.
