Food was mediocre. I had blackened fish tacos. Each taco had one small finger sized piece of fish with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Others in the group had flounder sandwiches and days 3 they were good. Pretty much the only food choice on the island.

The people here make this place! The food is very good, and the scrap Iron tea is delicious. Just be careful with them, they will sneak up on you.

First time on Daufuskie and we had a good time. Fun little crab restaurant, basic menu, drinks and live music. The only downside is you have to pay $10 to go onto the island. Also food definitely took awhile, we went on a busy Friday. Felt very hot, sticky and crowded. Drinks were good and we met some fun vacationers. Definitely a dive, I liked it

Food came out cold. The redheaded,bearded bartender inside sucked. Couldn’t keep who’s next so Waite 35 went to the bar outside and less then a minute had drinks.

Food is little over average good fried food. Service is ok but we have always gone when its busy.

I would just like to start off saying I’m disgusted. I was a big fan of scrap iron after trying it one time. After visiting again I have nothing good to say. The service was so despicable I was honestly appalled. I will never go back or recommend them to anyone else. The dock master was also very rude choosing which boats assist and purposely letting others dock before us. I’m still disgusted by this whole establishment and will never return.
