La Oaxaquena Reviews
Great food, great service, plenty of parking and the food was fast tasty and the people here are friendly.
Went there on the way home. It's a small restaurant. But the food was outstanding. The service was good.
The restaurant is very plain and has very little atmosphere. The service was very slow. The food took awhile but it was very good. We may be back as I liked a few items on the menu.

La Oaxaqueña is a small, unassuming restaurant that offers authentic Mexican cuisine in a quiet neighborhood. While the atmosphere is quite plain and lacks ambiance, the focus on good food and friendly service stands out. The staff is described as super friendly, respectful, and attentive, creating a welcoming environment where customers feel like family. The menu features flavorful dishes such as tacos, quesadillas, salad, chicken diabla, and shrimp, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Notable items include their crunchy shrimp tacos, Shrimp A La Diabla, and birria with consommé, which many find delicious and satisfying. The restaurant makes their own flour and corn tortillas, adding to the authenticity and quality of the meals. Customers appreciate the free salsa and chips and often mention the good service, especially when the staff takes time to chat and ensure a pleasant experience. Some reviews mention slow service and the small, simple setting, but these are balanced by the high quality of food and the overall friendly atmosphere. La Oaxaqueña is a hidden gem for those seeking authentic Mexican dishes, worth a visit for its tasty food, generous portions, and warm hospitality.
