“The bisket is full of fat, if you like fat you are in the right place. I have never been served slices of fat. I had more fat then bisket. Will not return. Brisket sandwich was 10.00 and the majority was fat. They knew I had never had bisket before, so the served me fat.”

So much variety, amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff. Such a hidden gem! The pickled okra is one of the best and most creative appetizers I have had in a long time. “Quite literally my favorite spot to eat now. Please don't take the Birria tacos off the menu because I'm obsessed. 😍 My husband loves the Willy Quesadilla. You guys have something super unique and special, and I'm so glad I found you! Although I haven't dined in yet, and all my experience has been via food delivery with Doordash, everything has always been on point. From the street corn to the brisket egg rolls to the street corn fritters...it's all delish. Keep it coming! CHEF'S KISS!”

“Had a wonderful experience for my 65th birthday my friend had sent me roses and a cake he was unable to accompany my family and I for dinner but they were very professional and excited just like I was to get the Roses and birthday cake I would definitely recommend them not only for the food but for their Hospitality their professionalism and they're eagerness to enjoy the fun of birthdays❤️”

“I have always enjoyed coming to Mon Amie and have highly recommended it to dozens of people. My early birthday breakfast with my cousin was nothing short of amazing until we were very rudely interrupted by the hostess. She proceeded to ask us about our meal as if she really cared, then very abruptly told us to basically leave because there was a party outside with a baby that needed to be seated because of the very cold weather. I love babies and while I hate to think of it being exposed to cold weather, that's not our problem. My cousin drove an hour to eat with me and we were treated as if their discomfort was our emergency and we needed to act accordingly. This was my cousin's very first experience in this restaurant and probably her last! Our dining experience matters just as much as the next person's, please do better! I want to stress the fact that we were not asked nicely, we were told. Demanded if you will! And yes we are black and they weren't! When I spotted the family with the baby I could see that they were sitting directly beside the heat lamp on the patio and they seem to be enjoying conversation amongst each other, so it was definitely the hostess that did everything besides basically push us out the door! Needless to say we moved on before we were ready to because we will not be where we aren't wanted!”

“I found this coffee shop online on Sat, 12/23/23, when I was searching for one nearby since Buck 'N Brew (Landrum, SC) & Tandem Creperie (Travelers Rest) were both closed. I'm so glad I found this shop! Once I heard from Lori (1 of the owners) that their maple latte was made from maple that was driven down from VT (I'm originally from NH), I decided to try it - SOOOO good! Denis (Lori's hubby) told me their milk was from a nearby farm, so I got that in the latte; it was so smooth! I also ordered a trio berry scone that was yummy! So impressed with this place & the friendliness of the owners! I'll def be back to try the Winterberry drink. MERRY CHRISTMAS & TY!”

“We have been to FR8T Yard many times, but last night’s band Randomonium was AWESOME! Please invite them back! The beers and ciders were cold and flowing, and the Yard Hooch is a must-try!! “Wow quality of food has improved so much since we were last here. Had lunch my $19 express chicken schnitzel was delicious and perfect portion. My husband got the $25 steak which was cooked just the way he liked. Staff were friendly and we had great service. Only small downfall was the coke was terrible. Highly recommended.”
