The prices are maybe a little higher than what you might expect from a place like this (think extremely casual, not fine dining at all) but the food is worth it. Everything tastes homemade. Their tomato sauce is AMAZING!“

“Like a previous reviewer, we had driven by several times and never stopped. We were looking for takeout tonight and decided to give Smoky Dreams a try. We were not disappointed! Everything was delicious and just the way we would like it. We had the brisket, sweet potato casserole, and coleslaw, all of which were yummy. Even the iced tea was perfect . “First off, great staff!! They are very friendly, attentive, and accommodating.You are always greeted with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious. I always get at least 2 dozen raw oysters to start with a side of their cheesy grits, that taste like they came from my grandma's kitchen. I've been going there for years and have enjoyed every meal from sushi to steak, to smothered chicken to scallops. The food is phenomenal. Clearly the chefs take pride in every meal they prepared. Delicious food, portioned and priced right. The GBOH never disappoints. The backbone of the operation is Diane & Katie. They are always there and make you feel like family. I live in Florida and when I'm in South Carolina, after stopping to see family, my next stop is GBOH!!! LOVE IT!!“

“We held my high school graduates Grad party here and it was fabulous!! Plenty of room for both our family and friends and my seniors school friends. Everyone had access to the dance floor and they enjoyed singing karaoke. Rusty and Suzanne were extremely helpful and accommodating. And the cost didn’t break the bank which is really helpful during senior year! I highly recommend this venue! Thank you again Rusty & Suzanne for helping make Jordan’s Grad party one that he will always remember!“

“We moved to this area over 3 years ago and was so excited there was a local coffee shop. Everyone that has served us is so incredibly nice. My children love picking a treat from their baked goods and the coffee is amazing. It's super convenient with the drive-thru and the atmosphere is so relaxing if you want to just hang around. “What a upstate hot dog is supposed to be. Everything is how it should be, the bun, the wiener, the chili, even the onions. Ever since Just Dogs closed I have been on the hunt for a proper upstate hot dog, and this place is the place.“

Their pesto chicken didn't have any pesto and 7 pieces of chicken. Their chicken wings were burnt. Their spinach Artichoke dip came in a small cup and was so watery and pita bread wasnt even toasted it was 1 pita bread cut up in 4 bites. Was disappointed after spending 81.70 for this order. It was so bad. We'll know not to ever order from them while coming through town“

“5 Stars - Exceptional Dining Experience

My wife and I visited Lieu’s Asian Bistro last night, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We hadn’t been in a while, but from the moment we walked in, we were promptly seated and reminded why we’ve always enjoyed this gem.

I wasn’t feeling 100%, so I opted for a ginger ale with bitters and a water with three lemons (my go-to drink), while my wife had sweet tea. We started with the Miso and Wonton soups alongside the Spring Rolls, which were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. My wife noted a surprise bit of chicken in her miso soup but still found it delicious.

For our entrées, my wife chose the Pan-Fried Chilean Sea Bass with ginger, scallions, and a sweet soy glaze over a bed of spinach, served with white rice. She said it was cooked to absolute perfection—easily the best in the Upstate! I had the Shrimp & Scallops with snow peas, shiitake mushrooms, and a delicate white wine sauce. It was equally phenomenal.

We were so satisfied that we had no room for dessert, though my wife has her sea bass leftovers to enjoy later. I had only a little left on my plate because it was just that good.

The service was prompt and attentive, making our dining experience seamless. My only minor suggestion would be a decor refresh to brighten the interior and update the dining area, but I know that’s a big undertaking.

The food, however, is perfection and needs no changes. Lieu’s remains a hidden culinary treasure—fabulous food and a fabulous experience! 5 stars!“

“Cold hard/soggy food depending on if it’s touching the plate or not. Waitress is slow or just overwhelmed. She was nice though. We waited an hour for 2 burgers/fries and a chicken plate, when people that came after us got their food and left while we were still waiting. Used to be a good place, not so much anymore.“
