Went on Saturday night (1/27/24) around 6:30 or so. Had not been to Black's in at least 10 years. The staff was very friendly and seemed glad we came.The salad bar was very fresh but I wish it had a few more options like olives, mushrooms, and hot peppers.The seafood bar was delicious but I held back 1 star because the warmer table needs to be hotter. We arrived a little early. No wait. The salad bar was simple but I was very satisfied with it.The buffet was good, as well. The food was hot and fresh. The fried fish was crispy and the shrimp was cooked properly. I'd had liked to had some whole, fried catfish. No complaints at all.

It has been over 45 years since my dad and me ate here. I decided to take him here for his 84th birthday.They did not disappoint us at all. They greeted us at the door, and made us feel welcome. Dad and me ate from the buffet bar, and it was M'm , M'm m, Good!! ? We are coming back, and bringing my aunt. Hopefully, they will have oyster stew.
