the flavor of the food is not correct to profile. old fashioned made extremely overpoured not muddled. pasta came with a puddle of wine in the bottom of the plate, I returned after one bite (they then expected me to pay for it after she said she'd remove it from the bill, stating well some people still pay for it.) negative.. steamed oysters are a) not local b) not steamed correctly. shrimp overcooked and also, not local. had to reorder wine twice! collards are improperly...
So sad I didn’t grab a picture but everything was excellent. Our group had fried shrimp, tomato pie, mac & cheese, Lima beans…all were excellent. We also had great drinks, the beach mule, pineapple martini, and toasted coconut punch all also great! But none of these compared to our exceptional server Rachel. This is a must visit when on the island.
This restaurant is associated with the Flowers family seafood business. It doesn't get better than that! We're happy to see the location of the former Dockside Restaurant has been resurrected by a group that can make it work. Expect food prepared "the island way", and service that is pleasant and welcoming in space that isn't busy. Prepare to see people you know or new friends that don't mind conversing from table to table. It's a great place...
