This place has every candy you can think of! You walk in, and it's like a flashback to candy stores a s a kid.You fill the bag and pay per pound so you can mix and match. They also offer Bluebell ice cream you can get in bowl or cone. The one I had ( peppermint) had a bit of a freezer burn taste, but husband had chocolate peanut butter, and it was good! The other half of the store has beach accessories and gift shop type items The employee that waited on us seemed very annoyed that we were there. When we were ready to order, we stood at the ice cream counter. The employee came over and stood there but did not say a word to us. We finally realized she was waiting for our order, filled it, and we left. No greeting or goodbye. Overall, unless you need a specific candy, not a place that needs to be on your list

Family vacay at Edisto....candy shop is a must! We always stop in for some Jelly belly jelly beans or some icream! Staff was very friendly.

We bought two very small bags of peanut M&Ms and jelly bellies and two packs of razzle’s and it cost us $28. That is the last time I will go there. I’ve been to many candy stores and bought the same thing for half the price.
Came here on the night of Saturday 24th June. Lady seemed to have an attitude and she charged us for an extra ice cream that we did not order. Trying to get a refund was very very hard.The lady was close to not giving a refund, we had paid by credit card and in the end after being insistent for the refund we got the money in cash.Ice cream was pretty good - its Blue Bells so for that reason I am giving 2 stars.

Yasssss! Sweet staff and the perfect place for a post-beach day treat.I went in with three rowdy kiddos. There are toys, souvenirs, candy ... all the things. Lots were the perfect height for little ones to see and want but the staff was verrrryyyy sweeeeet and very patient.Two young girls helped us get ice cream. The kids were indecisive and made a mess. These girls were beyond patient and so helpful. I asked for a broom so I could clean up the mess (they broke an ice cream cone into pieces ?♀️) and the girl insisted it wasnt a problem and they would get it. The other girl had it swept before we left the store. I dont know if these ladies are used to kids or what but I give them all the applause.The sitting area outside is a lovely view and a picturesque-moment provider. The ice cream received zero complaints, of course. We look forward to going back every year.
