Hardee's is a restaurant with mixed reviews. The Mushroom and Swiss burger was amazing, and the spicy chicken sandwich was not great, tasting like a McDonald's Mac Chicken with a hard bottom bun. The breakfast is a highlight, with good eggs, great chicken, crispy hash browns, and bacon. The Hardee's breakfast platter comes with eggs, a choice of meats, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns, all for under $10. The service was good and the people were nice. However, the CO2 seemed off on the Coke soda, though a root beer was better. A major complaint is that they close at 2200, which is not ideal for a truck stop. There is also a great dog area.
