It's not his son he brings it back to get the correct one then the little old lady at front going to try to give it to me. I said I want a new one she hesitated and I said it again I want a new one so they finally tell them to make new one.”

“Absolutely amazing! I don't like fish but I will try little bites from various places to see if my taste buds have changed. We'll, my whole family was shocked when I ate a whole plate of the flounder from there! My husband travels for his job and we've been all over the US. We try various restaurants for hamburgers, pizza, seafood (husband and kids)and steaks. This little place has just ranked #1 for our family. I've had their ribs, shrimp, stuffed crab as well as their fried green tomatoes. We've tried a variety of their sides and everything we've had so far has been 10 out of 10. It's out of the way and we found it by googling for restaurants near us when we found it. It will definitely be worth your time to try them out! It's definitely our favorite place to eat when they are open. I honestly would say that they have the best food around the Greeneville/Lauren's county.”

“My husband and I love eating here everyone is nice but the only thing I find wrong is when people come in to eat between 8pm and 9pm I feel like they are rushing the customers to leave because they start cleaning at 8:30pm and they close at 10pm. In my opinion if a place closes at 10pm they should start cleaning after the last customer leave. The smell of the cleaning chemicals are very strong and it can harm customers or children. If they want to go home early then they should close at 8pm so the have time to clean and be home at 10pm. It is not very professional. That needs work!”

“I’m 66 years old here in 2024. And I can remember the building Pete’s is in now when I was in my 11th or 12th grade being built. The store was named the Batum Chef I believe at first. Then I think Pete’s opened it later. Anyway has been serving good food for a long time. There is several Pete’s in the area, but this is the only one that I believe the guy that owns and cooks there is named Pete. His Hotdogs and Cheese burgers are delicious. Homemade onion rings. And his Fries are always hot. Fair prices too.”

“They are under new management since about a few weeks ago. And I have to say they are doing so much better. The new manager is literally retraining all the previous employees and new ones to do things how they should be. Food seems fresher. Lots more toppings and they are doing what it takes to fix the issues... Give them another try. You will be amazed at the difference.”

Lunch and dinner times it can be busy but they are usually staffed to handle the customer base for the area. Prices are pretty fair as far as fast food sandwiches go. “I visited Zaxbys in Woodruff SC today. The all around service was wonderful. Smiling faces, polite voices, food and drinks were perfect. Those lemon pepper wings were seasoned to perfection. Fries were crispy and seasoned. I will always go there when im in Woodruff.”

“One of the better fast food restaurants in Woodruff. They usually get everything right and it tastes pretty good. Only complaint is that the people who work there aren't very friendly. Which I get it's a job. We have tried a few things from the menu and it's all pretty good. The chicken is always crispy. The biscuits are made to perfection. The rice, the mac and cheese and green beans are always good.”
