I’ve been wanting to get back to Venus for a while, but my schedule conflicts with theirs. We had breakfast for lunch there the other day, and it was terrific. My wife had big, fluffy French toast, scrambled eggs, and some terrific sausage patties. I had a plate that they call the mess.toast and french fries covered in a hamburger steak with cheese on it, mushrooms, onions, two eggs, over medium and a ladle of gravy. Venus is a wonderful example of a locally owned diner / restaurant that thinks customers deserve excellent food served in a friendly atmosphere. I have never had a meal here that I wouldn't eagerly order again!
