My main complaint is Shika the girl who answers the phone to take your order has a getto attitude problem!!!! Why is she answering the phone? “My daughter had her first prom this past weekend. I live out of state but I wanted to make sure her night was special. I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again! “My wife and I came here after our wedding yesterday! The decor and ambiance was cozy but also very refined. We had a few more people show up to our after-party than we expected in our reservation, but the staff just pulled over another table for us so would have room. The manager was heading out for the evening when we were seated, but he came back in just to congratulate us and thank us for celebrating with them. He also brought out a bottle of champagne for us, which was an unexpected but very nice gesture. The cocktails themselves were also delicious. “Wow!! Last night we had dinner and ordered several things. The buratta salad was to die for such a beautiful dish to look at an even better to eat. The spinach artichoke dip was the most unique I’ve ever tried. I got the wedge salad for an entree it was one of the best salads I’ve eaten out and my husband got his go to shrimp and grits. Your food was on point last night and I felt compelled to tell you. I love this place so much and so happy we have it with all the limited dining places nearby. Fantastic evening with you!“

“Went there for my birthday yesterday , great food and presentation, waiter Alec or Alex was perfect , I counted 5 people who came to our table bringing food, drinks appetizers , checking in etc , drinks never ran out , food was timely. Can’t say enough how great they were, hostess was a little blah , but everything else was above any beyond , they even had a birth day card on table as we sat, (wife booked and on open table and also spoke with them on the phone to make sore they had the ousters( yes their charbroiled oysters are amazing ( as good as acme but with their own take on them) thank you again kounter , we will be back“

“We recently came to try Flower Child for the first time. Their menu had a lot that I wanted to try, but here is what we got:

*Watermelon Sangria - didn't really taste the watermelon, but I think it added a little sweetness and toned down the spice. It was closer to a fall sangria than a summer one.
*Mediterranean Chicken Kabob Bowl - this had so much more flavor than I was expecting. It was so good that I could not stop eating. The only thing I did not like is that it contained cucumbers which was not listed on the menu, but luckily they were on the side rather than thrown into the bowl.
*Flying Avacado Wrap - my husband got this and liked his wrap, but we both agreed after having bites of my dish, this was a little bland, and we were left wanting more flavor like my dish had.

Service was fast and good. We look forward to coming back to trying more dishes, but I'd come back for my bowl again!“

“Excellent service is a rare thing to find these days, but the Southpark manager, Sharon, and our server, Allie (sorry if misspelled) hit it out of the park Monday night. I had a crazy request, and she and Allie not only fulfilled it, they exceeded my expectations and we had a PERFECT date night evening. The food and the wine were amazing, and I will definitely go back again even if just for the truffled cheddar! It's exactly the kind of place you go when you want to chill, visit, and enjoy a nice glass of wine.“

“Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

“I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up there and actually had a lot of fun. So thank you for hosting this and thank you to DJ Swin for making this a really welcoming event! We'll be back!“
