I placed an order, and it arrived exactly as promised. The pastries were absolutely delicious and just as beautiful as they were tasty. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I tried four different items, and each one exceeded my expectations. Needless to say, Sheila’s Bakery has become my new go-to spot for fresh baked goods. “What a great find! Came through Augusta on a day trip, and happened across Farmhaus. Good food that is locally sourced, and great service. The young lady who took our order was great- she seemed happy to be there and was very helpful with the menu. The food was tasty and prompt. The beer selection looked awesome, only wish I could’ve enjoyed one with the burger, but I had a long drive ahead. If your considering trying Farmhaus, go! I would definitely come back next time through!”

I’ve visited Savannah River Brewing Company countless times, but never ordered food until now, and WOW, have I been missing out! I LOVE that Savannah River Kitchen offers a curated menu with recommended beer pairings. Such a smart partnership!

The Korean chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced and an explosion of flavor! My friend’s smashburger with bacon jam? That FIRST BITE?! Oh. My. GOD. Phenomenal!

I also love the family-friendly and dog-friendly atmosphere. In my experience, the best breweries across different cities and states embrace that environment! They host several events throughout the week, all advertised in advance, so naturally, it can get crowded. Complaining about crowds or dogs at an openly pet-friendly brewery seems a bit silly when that information is readily available beforehand.

And to anyone bothered by bartenders explaining the beers, they’re describing the flavor profiles and tasting notes of beers they BREW themselves! That’s part of the craft brewery experience, and something I’ve encountered at excellent breweries all over the country. It’s hospitality, not an insult to your beer knowledge!

Our waitress was awesome, very attentive and made my son’s birthday dinner a big success. The floor manager checked in with us several times, was very friendly and made sure our experience was great! “I had 14 guests for lunch at Christmas time, at the Willcox. Bruce was our server and we all can’t say enough good comments about him. He is a keeper. In my 80 years he is the BEST SERVER I have ever had. Our group just laughed and loved him. Jade was super efficient in caring out my wishes for seating. I cant say enough good about Bruce or Jade. Thanks Wilcox staff for making the food delicious and the occasion so perfect. The last time I ate at the Willcox I was served a hamburger with a molded rolls. “I Recently moved to North Augusta. A friend from Savannah called to tell me about McNeelys Place. What a treat my first visit was. Homemade Chicken Pie, collard greens, wonderful Mac and cheese and good cornbread. Even the tea was great. I felt like I had stepped back in time and was eating at my Mothers table. The dining rooms were attractive and spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. We met the cook who was delightful in addition to being talented. I brought home a box of delicious vegetables. Already planning my next visit.”
