Crowfield Golf Club Bar and Grill

Terrible experience with Crowfield Golf Club. They made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. My husband and brother in law booked a tee time for us and my sister. He called to ask about us tagging along as my sister and I don’t really play yet. They said if we came we had to book a tee time as well, which is totally understandable and we did. After we arrived and paid for all 4 of us, they gave us a hard time at the beginning of the course saying “I know you paid, but we don’t allow riders” I guess I was confused as to why we’d be considered a rider when we paid just like everyone else. His concern was that someone would call and see us as riders, in that situation 1. It’s none of anyone else’s business 2. The solution would be to just tell them we paid just like everyone else. If it was an issue it should have been mentioned on the phone when he first called and asked, and they shouldn’t have allowed us to pay knowing and being well aware of the entire situation. Definitely a turn off and a very unenjoyable way to start the game.

The food was good and lots of it. Small menu but adequate. Reasonable prices. Didn't like that my drink came in a Styrofoam cup, but that is just my preference. Waitress was quick and attentive. Will be back.

By FAR the worst golf experience I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a relaxing round of golf, this is absolutely not the place for you. Pro shop guys were nice, however from the moment you check in with the starter, prepare to be harassed and rushed your entire round. Beginning with the starter digging through your cooler to make sure you don’t have any outside alcohol. Then after you finish the front you’d like to go inside and get a cold drink and something from the grill before you finish the back, think again. You are not allowed to order anything from the grill menu while you’re playing golf at Crowfield. We spent a total of 10 minutes grabbing a drink and some ships and were told we still took too long at the turn. Finally, you’ll get the course ranger come over and park next to your carts and just sit there silently until you say something to him, where he will then proceed to tell you again that you’re taking too long. Keep in mind we were a foursome who all make decent golf shots, it’s not like this was any of our first times so we keep a decent pace, or so I thought. Overall this was the worst golf experience and I would have to be paid to play at Crowfield again.

Great food prices are very low and the portions are big. The service is great too. Chef Matt does a great job.

Visited Crowfield bar and Grill in Goose Creek tonight for the buffet. Two different entrees, salad(fresh and flavorful), garlic knots and dessert. The patrons, all golfers, were friendly and smiling. Pleasant atmosphere.

Good little hang out

I’ve never been so insulted when booking a tee time. I’ve golf at Crowfield for many years. Today I tried to book a tee time and I was told a had to give them a credit card. I have never given a credit card to book a tee time. Kevin tried to tell me it’s because I never call to cancel a tee time that I had. That was a flat out lie!!!!. The few time I had to cancel I called them days before the tee time. I don’t know who Kevin is but he should not be answering the phone and talking to customer. They have lost me business.

Great place for a quick bite to eat while either beginning or ending your round.
