Being from BR, we are excited to have this place. We already love both Nigel's locations. This was what I've been waiting for. He put his spin on NO favorites. The Signature Oysters were amazing! Boudin balls and crab dip were full of flavor. My husband loved the fried pork chops. Offer rice and gravy or mashed potatoes and gravy, please. The gumbo was flavorful and packed with chicken, shrimp, sausage, and crawfish- needed a little more liquid. Fried okra was fresh!
Get the Banana Bread Pudding! I don't even like bread pudding but this was out of this world! That caramel sauce was bomb! The beignets were delicious. Not authentic per se but fabulous all the same.
Nigel is a genius. I want that blackened catfish or shrimp ravioli next time.
Please add Crystal's or Louisiana hot sauce and some Tony's on the table. Even some sport peppers, if you want the trifecta of tabletop seasonings.“

The owner was so welcoming and helpful, she was so nice. I got my to youngest the Death by Chocolate and Birthday Cake. Both were delicious!! My kids loved them. I got the Riptide. So good. “So today I was greeted by Ashley today. it was pretty busy since it was the Fan Fest every day. All week thing going on, she told me she would be right with me once she was done with helping someone else out which I replied "take your time, I have nowhere to go" she smiled and laughed at my little joke. Once she was done, she helped me out! I told her I've never been to this place and asked if she could help me what to get! she asked me if I was allergic to anything so she could let them know to change everything. I giggled and said nope. She smiled and said "Well ma'am my fav food here is a plain salad with carrots and green onions and ranch and a bit of spinach' I was a bit scared of trying something like that and told her and she told me "trust me, you might like it but if not I can make you a different salad" I said I'll give it a try! then asked her what her fav smoothie is so I could try that too, she smiled and said "my favorite is the blueberry bliss with non-fat yogurt' I got everything she liked so maybe when I come, I can get it again. once I get done paying for it, she told me that my stuff will be out shortly and ask me if I wanted any water while I waited for my smoothies since it was going to take time, and I said yes please, and she went to go sit at the bar so I could watch them make things. it was a bit messy, but she got the job done while I was waiting, she checked up on me here and there if I need any more water and I said no thank you dear, later on I finally got my drink and to be honest with you it was the BEST SMOOTHIE EVER! I was like girl! you're a dream worker! she said, " I do my best, is it too sweet or not sweet enough for you?" I replied to girl! I love it. once I got my food I was a bit scared of trying it but I was brave enough to do it and gave in, And at that point I was amazed by it and when it got slow asked if she ever tried apples with it and she replied " no, I'll try it next time and if you come back I'll tell you about it" The manger needs to give her a rise to be honest I don't know if she got one, but she needs one with all the stuff she does to make sure someone is happy about their food or smoothie! I can't wait to come back and get her again hopeful she's there!“
