I really enjoyed the salsa and the homemade tortillas. The tacos and grilled nopales could have had a bit more flavor. And the tacos were a little on the dry side. Overall it was not worth the $70 I spent, but I wouldn't write this place off entirely. Just a couple tweaks and it's a very hopeful spot honestly.

Really good Mexican food, loved the taste and atmosphere of the place. Great family place to go to and if you're feeling some Mexican food I definitely recommend recommend this spot!

I don’t usually review but,1. The tacos were plain and dry2. The salsa verde is spoiled, and has a solid aroma3. The lemons are so dry I had to use my own just to make the tacos somewhat edible.I’m Mexican and this is the worst tacos I have ever tried, taco bell is better than this garbage.

I’m Mexican, from California & lived in Nevada for a while. But Mixteca in South Carolina is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The decor is very nice too I love the designs on the chairs and I love the Mexican style plates & cups. They serve you so much food & it’s delicious so it’s well worth the prices and the service was amazing. The jalapeño we received with our molcatjete was so spicy and I loved it so much!! Spiciest pepper ive had too , I love spice so I was so happy and thankful for the best & strong pepper. We’ll be coming back again :) thank you!

First time here. Food was just OK. The Asada taco was good, as was the Pastor. The Pollo was very dry and seemed old. The sour cream tasted off as well.Once the food was dropped off we weren't visited again until about 10 minutes after we were finished eating and waiting on the check.Food was decent, but we will look for another place next time.

The food here is authentic and delicious. If you're in the mood for Mexican food, this is the place to go. The staff are always quick to help you with anything you need. The drinks here are great as well, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. The food portions are quite large and the prices are pretty low.Parking: Strip mall parking lot.

I went in and I've never been there but wanted to get to go but because of a Swelling problem I have i need ground beef and none of their dishes had that and I was disappointed because there are people like myself that can't have foods that are broken down like some of Mexican restaurant and so I had to leave in because my wanting food similar to taco bell wasn't happening. I'm sure it would have been great but not for me with my health issues.

A very authentic Mexican restaurant hidden here off College Park Rd. Come here if you are trying to get away from the same old options found elsewhere.

The decorations and atmosphere were great, specifically the chairs and the awua fresca glasses. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good and filling. A very pleasant experience. Would happily return.

Yep, it's a hole in the wall. It's also the best Mexican food I have had anywhere in the tri-county area. Corn tortillas made on site and the food is so flavorful. They also aren't afraid to add some spice! Most of the local Mexican places serve food bland so people that don't like spicy food are happy.Service was great and my wife really liked the margaritas. The dinnerware even seemed better. Thick plates and great ceramic mugs and glasses.

The food was not what I expected .I have never given one star to any one place before, but sorry to say this was not Mexican food at all .the food was horrible. the tortilla was even warm up ,had the stake taco it was rubbery I didn't finish my food . They have a really nice big bar, so I asked for a corona beer, and they gave me my beer in a can usually when you ask for beer you get a bottle not a can unless you ask for a can but all good I just chucked it up to a place I will never visit again I did give the waitresses a 10.00 tip was not her fault for bad food .

Coming from a Hispanic background and having tried real Mexican food from different states in Mexico and USA, this place really falls short on the real quality of Mexican food. Not my top recommendation, the taste is not that great.
