When missing the beach… best shrimp and grits.
just left the restaurant food and service were terrible! we asked for the oysters to be steamed well done and they came out undercooked and cold. when we told the waiter about it he replied that the steamer was broken and that they were boiling them. we should have been told that from the beginning and were not. The steamer pot we ordered with four clusters of crab legs were cold as well and not good. The waiter was only worried about having to be working tonight on his birthday....read full review
We arrived about 6:15PM Saturday night and ordered 2 meals with baked potatoes. The waiter told us they ran out of baked potatoes but were cooking more and it would be about 30 minutes. So we said we would wait but in 30 minutes he came back to tell us they were not ready yet and would we like our food now and he would bring the potatoes when they were cooked. We ate our meal without the potatoes. We were offered a dessert instead.

Bimini's Oyster Bar & Seafood Cafe is an amazing place with a legit coastal feel and classic coastal seafood bar atmosphere. The energy hits different, with plenty of regulars to welcome you in. Great seafood is served, including huge oysters for only $9/dozen on Tuesdays, or steamed oysters for half price on Tuesdays. The food is so good; strongly recommend the clam chowder, gator bites, shrimp and grits with garlic bread, and the fried Grouper sandwich. Portion sizes compared to price are huge, and you definitely get more bang for your buck. The grilled Mahi is delicious, and an Island Therapy is a good drink. The service is wonderful, very attentive, and personable. The restaurant is so nice with a beachy vibe, and the food is served in a timely manner.
