Food was good. Chef was nice and pleasant. The server was alright. This location in Greenville is cleaner than the Spartanburg location. Due to that issue, we don't go there any longer. Just a matter of time before they have a grease fire.
I have always loved this restaurant. This time I brought my 8 yr old grandson. He loved it, especially when the big flames went up. Our lunch was pretty good. Our usual place isn't open at lunch, so I do like that Kanpai is open for lunch on Saturdays. Is it as good as our usual place down the road? No. But was it decent? Yes. Our chef was very fun with good personality. The tea was very good. The salad with ginger dressing was just okay. Hubby and I both got the shrimp hibachi. Like I said...decent but not the best by far.
