Wow what an amazing experience! I came to South Carolina for a work event and I started to google the best places to eat in Greenville, Sassafras came up. As I read the reviews I thought I should call ahead to see how long the wait was without a reservation, the hostess advised 1.5 hours but that the bar was open sitting. My family and I had dinner together for the first time at this restaurant. The hospitality and service was extremely welcoming and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: This place is very accessible, and accommodating.

We came to Greenville for a group 60th birthday celebration. Sassafras was our dinner choice. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and we got a free birthday dessert! We will definitely return here if we are back in Greenville!
