My husband and I had dinner at Soby's recently. Prior to going there I had decided to order scallops, which was on their website menu. However, after arriving, I was told that scallops are not on the menu. So, I ordered crabcakes. The crabcake was mushy with NO recognizable crabmeat. We finished a five day trip to Greenville by having dinner at Soby's. It was packed on a Friday night serving up their "reimagined" Southern Fare.
Ordinarily, I would dive in and tell you about all the great food, instead I want to give props to the two line cooks working the Grill and Sautée stations in the kitchen. Our table on the second level looked right down the back (cooking) line.
