Dinner was very good. My friend and I had the crab cake and the short rib. Both were very filling and tasted very good. Nothing that wowed. Drinks were lovely. The mezcal cocktail I had was a well-balanced drink. Our server didn't really check on us much. Sitting upstairs is rather cold, bring a jacket for sure.
My husband and I visited Soby's for the first time to celebrate my birthday, as I had been curious about the restaurant for quite some time. The atmosphere and ambience were very nice—warm, romantic, and perfect for a special evening out. The staff were friendly, and our waiter was pleasant; however, the service lacked attentiveness. We often had to remind him about items we had already requested, and some things never arrived at all. For example, our first appetizer—roasted...
Our favorite over and over again. I'm not a salad guy but the beet and goat cheese salad was freaking amazing. Shrimp and grits never fail as the best I've ever had but the portion is too small for the price. Great service and can't beat the ambiance.
