Had a party here this last weekend. Whitney was amazing to work with and made the whole process easy. The event space is amazing. They truly have an affordable and unique space. The whole venue blew away all the guests local and those that did not live here. Food was amazing. We had the buffet and the food was fresh, nothing was dry and the food was a highlight of the party as well. I would highly recommend this place for a party.
Flavorful salads, and she crab soup. Soup was lukewarm and my blackened chicken and my husband's grilled chicken breasts were tender and juicy although not quite done near the bone attached to the wing joint. Still good until we noticed it. Server was adequate. Desserts were just ok. Coffee ice cream was outstanding! We had the first seating at 4:30.
We booked our reservation at Soby's weeks in advance for our anniversary night. We sat outside on the patio because the weather was exceptional. We had been to Soby's many times in the past and had always been impressed by both the food and the service. Once again, the food did not disappoint, but this visit, the service did. Our server, Abby, was not very attentive, even though our reservation was at 8:30, when there were not many remaining guests. She left us alone...
