True Southern Hospitality.
Food was delicious, plenty of options.
Staff welcoming and friendly.
absolutely fantastic food in a “modest” building. Old school buffet that has some of the best, most authentic southern food I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended
The food was really horrible. The only thing worth eating was the fried chicken. I will never go there again.
Great food!!!

I went to Granny Hands on Easter for the buffet & I can honestly say that I enjoyed EVERYTHING! My mom is a picky eater & she CLEANED her plate. She said it was some of the best fried chicken she ever had. Everything was fresh! I had the roast with rice & gravy, green beans, & macaroni & she had the best cakes. The cakes were moist & just melt in your mouth. I also enjoyed the banana pudding cause it didn’t have bananas & had a nice whipped texture. Everything reminded me of my mother’s cooking. It was about $28 per person but it was well worth it cause you will not leave hungry. She have a restaurant in Greenville, SC as well called Mae Ella’s & it is just as good. I live in Greenville so I’m hoping one day she will get on DoorDash. For everyone complaining about the price, I would rather give my money to this hardworking woman than to spend my money with people who voted against us. She deserves all of our support cause I have watched this lady serve our community with the care it needs in today’s society. I look forward to being a returning customer. I’ve already spread the word. Thank you for the amazing food.
Delicious 😋
Well I finally did it, I was looking at this place for months finally got up drove an hour and got there just at 11am. The food is mediocre, consistently mediocre. Everything was just ok and I was expecting a WOW out of at least one item. Paid $28 for this meal and it's safe to say even if it was $10 they will never see my face again. It's not about being overpriced if you can get $28 for this meal then all power to you but the food isn't anything special nor does it's taste reflect the price.
Today was our first experience at Granny’s Hand, we attended a church service and when we got our food everything we had was awesome , u just couldn’t eat everything but I tried lol I mean awesome , we will definitely me back and we spoke to the owner and we complimented her on the food she was very thankful, see u soon
My favorite place I live in Greenville and it’s never an issue to get up and drive to get this delicious food and great southern hospitality.

We stopped by on our way back to ATL. Overall the food is good. Our favorite item was the Mac-N-Cheese but they ran out an hour before closing. I escalated to the owner and they made it right. The pig feet needed a pinch of a salt. The meat loaf, potato salad, strawberry cheese cake and broccoli casserole was really good. Tables are really small.
The drink is included in the price. I would prefer to pay separately. I only drink water. I would go back but never close to closing. You get the bare minimum. They have to figure out how to keep a full spread till closing or charge a discounted price after a certain time.

I recently visited Granny Hands Restaurant and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was outstanding—classic soul food done to perfection! The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot-on. But the real highlight was the banana pudding—it was absolutely to die for! Creamy, sweet, and with just the right amount of texture, it was the perfect end to a fantastic meal. The prices were very reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious, authentic soul food!

Granny Hands has the best soul food in Greenwood, South Carolina! Food and Service are a 10/10. It is packed every time my family and I go. I live in Charlotte, and if there were a Granny Hands there, I would be there every week. The owner, Tish, knows what she’s doing in the kitchen, and she is extremely personable. It was a pleasure meeting her during my last visit. If you’re ever in Greenwood, make sure that you visit. You won’t be disappointed!
