We worked with Denise, the chef and owner of Southern Palate. She always got back to me promptly and was always willing to meet with me face to face anytime I needed during the planning process. My husband and I always dreamed of having Mexican food at our wedding. Denise already had an option on the catering menu for Mexican stations and it was just what we were looking for! They homemake everything, even the tortilla chips (which were amazing), and were able to accommodate my gluten allergy with anything I wanted. Denise made sure all of her employees knew I was gluten free and they served me and my husband the whole night so that we didn’t have to worry about taking the time to get our own food. They even packed us a to go box full of every food item at the wedding so that we were able to eat at our hotel after. They took all the stress off of us on our special day and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend using them for any event and I will definitely be using them for any catering needs in the future.“

“We recently held a wedding reception for fifty people in a small venue, we had our own help to work the buffet. While we were at the ceremony, the food was delivered on time, they set the pans into the steam tables for us. It was delicious! EVERYONE was commenting on how good EVERYTHING tasted. We had ordered Mediterranean chicken, pork loin, roasted garden mixed veggies, roasted asparagus, truffle mac and cheese, rice pilaf. The sauces and gravies were smooth and richly flavored. The presentation (even in the pans) was very appealing. Job well done! My surprise is that nothing had dried out, or become soggy, all the meat was tender and juicy, the veggies were not overcooked. The quantity was almost double what was needed. Lots of happy leftovers, there was a feast the next day too. After spending months on planning, when the day finally arrives, you hope all your efforts pay off, and it did with Good Life.
