We took our family to Chophouse 119 for my Father-in-Law's 80th birthday. It was a wonderful experience. The food was incredible. Best filet mignon I have had in quite a while (Pittsburgh style). All of the food came out perfect in timing and flavor. It is a bit pricey but have to say that the quality of food and more importantly the quality of service made it worth the price. Steaks have been excellent every time, as have been sides and salads. Service was attentive yet paced well for a very enjoyable dinner. It's a nice contrast from restaurants that push as fast as possible to turn over the table.
My family and I had such a wonderful experience at chophouse 119. The staff, food and atmosphere were exceptional. It will be my go to place from now on

Prices align with the DC metro area's standards, while the atmosphere and menu are both fantastic. Some guests noted that the restaurant can be too dark and that noise from other tables can be an issue. However, the food quality remains excellent. The serving sizes are large, and many have enjoyed the friendly and knowledgeable service. With amazing service, a fabulous chef, and a focus on southern warmth and hospitality, Chophouse 119 guarantees an unparalleled dining experience. The steaks were perfectly medium as requested and everything was flavorful. The ambiance was upscale but not stuffy. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing! Filet was perfectly prepared. Sides were all phenomenal. The menu was a dream, with perfectly cooked steaks that melted in your mouth and sides that were bursting with flavor. Every dish was crafted with care, and the attention to detail in presentation was impeccable.
