Ruan Thai Hut is hands down one of our favorite places to eat on Hilton Head! We have been dining there for over 5 years. Whether we dine in or get take out, the Thai food is consistently amazing! It’s fresh, flavorful, and always beautifully presented. It is evident they use quality ingredients and take pride in every dish they serve. Whether it’s the Pad Thai, Massaman curry, or any of the chef’s specials, we’ve never had a bad meal here.

What really sets this place apart is the exceptional service, especially from Goi. Goi is always so friendly, polite, and genuinely attentive. She remembers us by name and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect each time we visit. Her warm energy and professionalism make every meal feel extra special.

The restaurant is also immaculately clean, which adds to the overall comfort of the dining experience. It’s a warm, welcoming environment that makes you feel right at home.

If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with top-notch service, we highly recommend Ruan Thai Hut!

This would be a 5 star review. The food was amazing and the building was very pretty and clean but the server was very rude and unfriendly.

Decent place. Tom yum gum soup was a bit inauthentic according to friend who travels to Thailand but overall it was a good option for Thai in the area. Space was small but charming with outdoor seating as well.

Amazing food! Service was very nice and fast. I ordered the panang curry and was impressed. I ordered it medium (I like a little spice) and was happy. Highly recommend this little place by the airport. 😀

Most of their dishes can be made vegan when they’re made without fish & oyster sauce. Their spring rolls, panang curry and pad thai were good. But the Tom Kha soup and drunken noodles stole the show.

This is my go to restaurant as a food is cooked perfection every time you order promptly served and you receive wonderful service. We order the drunken noodle is Green curry. The portions are fresh, generous, and the dishes are packed with flavo. We come again and again as we enjoy eating here.

This is huge surprise and a gem of restaurant! We visited last night as our jaws dropped when the food arrived with the presentation and taste of food. I am ready to drive from Charlotte for this food again, that’s 4 hours!

Very pretty, very expensive and extremely bland food. Some of the most flavorless Thai food I have ever eaten. Tom Yum broth had no lemongrass flavor and weak chicken flavor. Pad Thai was flavorless and a tiny portion ($28). Drunken noodles tasted like they were out of a box (the noodles). It was also flavorless (and $28 for a tiny portion. Not sure who’s cooking there but I bet they’re not from Thailand.
