“We visited this outstanding restaurant/live jazz venue last evening for the first time. Seating is reserved in a spaced out format, so staff is not unindated with drink and food orders at once. I'd recommend getting an earlier time prior to the show, or you will get your food in the dark. Waitress very knowledge of food and regularly visited our table for water refills or to see if we needed anything. The show was Martin Lesch who regularly plays at the club. Extremely talented group. Food was excellent. This place is a well oiled machine.“

An unexpected, yet beautifully balanced combination of flavors that demonstrated both creativity and precision. The delicate pasta, rich duck confit, and perfectly runny egg yolk created a dish that was not only visually stunning but an absolute pleasure to eat. Another unexpected delight was the Insalata d’Anatra con Albicocca e Burrata. A light and refreshing salad featuring succulent duck, sweet apricots, and creamy burrata. It was the perfect prelude to the main courses, showcasing a masterful understanding of balance and texture. Venturing into new territory, I tried the Polpo alla Griglia, my first experience with octopus. For starters, we couldn’t resist the Peach and Plum Salad with Scallops. The baked peach stuffed with oats and pine nuts was another winner. It was refreshing, light, and oh so exciting to my tongue. It had a similar presentation to a small coffee cake, but packed a flavorful punch of peach cobbler. Finally, the Affogato, a dessert that was new to me but instantly became a favorite. Vanilla gelato drenched in rich espresso, chocolate sauce, Kahlua, and whipped cream. It was an indulgent, yet perfectly balanced way to finish the evening. “back again two years later, and every element held up to what we remembered and enjoyed about our first experience. server Tyrone was such a welcoming and charming presence at every turn—thank you so much for taking such good care of us! we enjoyed working around the menu differently this time, ordering the wedge salad, along with the chicken and the tuna for entrees. excellent cocktail as well as wine pairings for the main courses. the tuna was a bit salty for my taste (must’ve bee th mushrooms that soaked it all up??) and the chicken a bit dry, but al’s, the courses were complete and well presented, plated, and enjoyed. nice to finish with the chocolate panda cotta and Dow 20 year Port (wow!). thank you to Rupert for coming to the table numerous times and making sure we remained happy, content, and smiling. excellent establishment, service, hospitality, and experience. we will be back every time we come to HHI.“

“Horrible manager on 10/13/2022! He ruined my daughter's 5 year anniversary dinner. They were in from out of state to attend a golf tournament and celebrate their anniversary. When it came time for payment the manager came over and told them they don't accept Discover and was really rude and belittled them for not having any other type of payment with them. There are no signs posted that they don't take Discover. The manager said what do you want us to do, sit everyone down beforehand and tell them we don't take Discover. A sign should have been posted. Every other establishment they visited in Hilton Head took Discover. The manager could have been nice about it while they secured another form of payment instead of belittling them in front of everyone. Their waiter was amazing though. Seems they need to promote the waiter as the new manager.“

“We were out exploring the island and saw this place. Pleasantly surprised. While, small, they have a great selection of beers on tap. Indoor and outdoor seating. We chose the bar. Our bartender was informative, friendly, and made our experience better. We met others at the bar and had great conversation. They also have food. While a limited menu, the food I had was quite good. I ordered a brat sandwich. It came with onions, peppers, and saurkraut. It was one of the best brats I have had in a while. It was juicy, had great snap, and the toppings put it over the top. We had a fun and enjoyable experience.“
