Wise guys was recommended to me by a friend in Chicago. A couple of my friends and I while visiting had to try it. What a gem! We all loved our dinners. The French Onion Soup was hot, oniony and cheesy x just delicious. One of my friends has some dietary and our waitress and the chef made sure her orders were perfect. My short rib lasagna was so good! Also ordered and loved was the smash burger and chicken farfalle. We can't wait to go back.

We celebrated 2 birthdays and we all had a wonderful time. Everyone was pleased the drinks appetizers and main entree. Our waiter was very good and he had a great personality.

Food was not good had to send my steak back twice. We waited more than 10 mins to be addressed. I like when a restaurant has ambience but this was way to dark.

We love WiseGuys! Food, service, bartenders, decor, & music are always just right. Chad gave great service last night and the manager Esther is always so nice. We really enjoy sitting at one of the high top tables in the lounge. So fun.

Sean was our waiter. He was amazing! Super knowledgeable, great personality, perfect attentiveness, offered great suggestions and even explained the difference of the regular and prime steaks for us to understand easily. The she crab soup was the best I've ever had hands down! And what bakery does your bread???? OMG! The chicken mushroom farfalle was out of this world! Actually it was all a 12 out of 10!!!!

The steaks were cooked perfectly. They were juicy and visually pleasing. My mom had the braised short rib and it was flavorful. However, the steaks and veggies were extremely bland. My stepfather ordered the sautéed mushrooms for his side and my mom had a few of his mushrooms. Both of them had stomach distress that night and into the next day. Between the gastric distress and the lack of flavor, this restaurant will not be on the list for a return visit.

i usually don’t write reviews but because my experience was so terrible and also effected my health i have to in order to let others know not to dine at this restaurant. I dined at wise guys on december 21st for a friends birthday and got the she crab soup to begin and the short rib lasagna as an entree, which i thought was a safe bet but clearly not. overloaded with cheese with little noodle this lasagna was terrible and the shecrab soup was extremely salty. our waiter was a young man who kept making inappropriate comments, we got a complimentary panacatta (very nice, thank you) but however as we began eating the dessert the waiter came over and PROCEEDED TO jiggled our plate stating ‘that’s how men like it’?? the group i dined with was all young women and we felt extremely uncomfortable and that it was highly inappropriate for a fine dining restaurant alongside making other strange uncalled for comments. the individuals i dined with even noticed his strange behavior. BUT ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS I PROCEEDED TO GET FOOD POSIONING. the following day i had to go to the emergency clinic as a result, testing positive for ecoli? i know this restaurant had an ecoli scare beforehand and i was hesitant to even eat here but gave it a shot and ended up getting so ill.3 days later (as i am writing this review) and still can barely put any food in my stomach. besides the innapropriate comments made by the server, my main concern is the kitchen cleanliness and how the food is being handled. i’m surprised this resturant has such good reviews considering their health scare alongside the quality of the food and the service! i’m calling tommarow for a full refund! PLEASE BEWARE

We ate here two nights in a row. The Delmonico steaks (rib eye) cooked Pittsburgh medium was unbelievable! One of the best steaks we’ve ever had. We loved the truffle butter added on top.

19 hours ago We arrived a bit early and were seated in the exact place I had requested. This has been our place of choice for thanksgiving's for the past five years. Our server arrived and took our order for wine and the food. They were out of biscuits and cornbread, which are on the Thanksgiving menu. Also out of the bourbon sorghum butter, which is on the Thanksgiving menu. We did get the NYStrip from a rotisserie , and it was delicious. Also the WG salad and she crab soup, both excellent. Why then four stars? We felt rushed almost immediately. She came twice while we were having our soup and salad to ask if we were done. The entrees came and we were asked twice if we were still working on it. Finally we decided to have her box it all up so she could get home. I left 20% top because that is my minimum. Every Thanksgiving in the past five years, I have left a $100 tip because I remember how hard it was to work on holidays . However, if you really want to be at home, perhaps that is a better choice. Let others who are happy to make the extra money take the shift. Summary: the food was excellent, the environment was superb, and the service was hurried and therefore disappointing.
