“Hard time saying which was better, food or service. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Not just the rehearsed impersonal greeting, but a warm welcome. I felt like they were happy I was there. When I started eating I was happy I was there also. I had the Soul Rolls and Shrimp and Grits. The Soul Rolls were great, but I had came for the S&G. Shrimp and Grits are my favorite dish, and I try to find them everywhere I go. They absolutely nailed it. They add goat cheese. Never had it that way, and it did not disappoint. The food would make you feel as if it belongs in a tablecloth, maître d' ryoe establishment. But it ain't. It's friendly, laid back and comfortable. The atmosphere fits in with the name. They had music playing at the perfect volume to notice it if you wanted to, or listen to your table mates with ease if you wanted to. The price was good for the amount and quality of food you get. When I got there almost every table was full, yet my tea glass never got empty. Which would be the case most places I go to. Especially considering I had been working in this heat and was pretty thirsty. All in all, I give it 5 stars, and I will be back. Hope to bring the family soon.”

“It’s different. You order from a menu at a counter, be seated and your food is brought to your table. One thing that is not different is the delicious, down south home cooked food The staff is also the best southern hospitality and friendliness. Yes , a little different, nothing fancy, but you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.!”

“This was our first trip to Lake Greenwood. After some research, we decided to take our boat to Harris’ Landing for lunch. Wow! Best burgers ever!!! Actually, all of the food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Laid back and fun! We will definitely make this a repeat trip in the future.”

“We LOVE our Ernestos!! I've never been to a restaurant that feels so much like home. Everyone is so nice and welcoming!! You never have just one waiter, They all work together and help each other! The best Margaritas in town....ask for one of Brian's Peach Margaritas!! The Fish Tacos and Charro beans are my favorite too eat, but I've never had anything bad off of the menu!! I could go on and on about how wonderful Ernestos is!!”

“First time eating at The R Place. For that nice of a restaurant, and the cost to eat there, I was disappointed. My wife and I both had soups. There were very few potatoes in her soup, and the crap soup was heavy on the cheese and sherry, but not crab. I will say the bacon honey dressing is wonderful. I won't think of eating there again when dining out.”
