My mom had a chili cheeseburger that was just okay because the chili on top just looked like browned hamburger with not much flavor. All-in-one wasn't bad and the prices were pretty good. “Chips and Cheese is one of those places that just gets it right—every single time. The service is always friendly and fast, the food is ridiculously tasty, and they’ve got the coldest beer in town. I love that they always have music playing and a salsa bar that takes it to the next level. You even leave smelling like you’ve been somewhere worth it (in the best way). On top of all that? The prices are just as good as the food. Makes it even easier to keep this place in the regular rotation. Big thanks to the team—y’all crush it every time.“

“Get it while you can, this is a dying breed. Quintessential Gen X burger place. My whole visit just now could have been an hour of MTV from the 80’s with the Bowl game on all TV’s. Not being a burger person, I opted for the chicken tenders this time. Not the best, but okay. My husband and his brother were with me and they are both burger eaters, so they were both quite satisfied. The sweet potato fries were excellent, as were the regular potato wedge fries. I highly recommend the fry sauce. There is an extensive bakery menu and excellent shakes. Restrooms were exceptionally clean.“

“The inside is set up nice. Modern look inside. Had the meatball parm sub. The sauce was good the bread was good not what I expect from a Italian restaurant most use Italian bread for hot subs. The meatballs were the frozen ones so many places have switched to because of easiness or laziness. I haven't made my mind up on that one yet. I give the sub a 7.1“

“This evening my family went here for dinner. The hostess says you can sit wherever you want. We grab a seat and look to see what we are going to order. A waiter comes over and says the manager asked me to come over and tell you to move to a smaller table. Excuse me??? When I came in we were told to sit wherever. I tell you what, we moved right out the door. What a coward manager to have a server do your dirty work. I bet my money spent well elsewhere. I won’t ever go back. Customer service is everything and theirs is 0!!!“

I havent ate here in a very long time ago, around 2001vqas the last time that I ate here, and i dont live in South Carolina anymore, i live in North Carolina and soon I will be planning to take a trip to South Carolina with my parents just to eat at Pete's. Thank you for staying in business but I always knew that you guys would stay open, even when I was a little girl, I knew that I would never forget this place and no matter what happened to me I would make sure when I did come back to South Carolina for visits i would always stop into at Pete's for the famous French fries and the jumbo chili cheeseburger with the onion ring.“

“My wife really loves poke Bros and my daughter does too, so they get me to go there a little more often than I normally would, but they do have decent food if you like sushi type salads and Asian food, which we really do. And they're always really nice and friendly. I suggest giving it a try at least once, although to be honest for the amount of food in the bowl I think the price is a little steep, but it's okay. “Easily our favorite hibachi and the Sakura roll is a must have. We appreciate the fresh cut vegetables in our meals instead frozen like it usually is at hibachi restaurants. The service is always great and the restaurant is clean. If you live close do not pass on Sakura!“

“You looking for a hole in the wall Mexican joint? You know the one that may look a bit rough but has the BEST FOOD? This is it! I live in NC and anytime I come to SC to see family eating here IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST!! It is my favorite joint and if they were in NC I would be a regular. You order from the window, can pay cash or card, pick your toppings from the topping bar and then find a seat in the cafeteria like setting. Nothing fancy but the food is the main attraction. The Mercado (grocery store) has regular hours but the restaurant portion is only open on weekends. I always get the Al Pastor Tortas but everything else is delicious too. Try it and I promise you won’t regret it.“

“Young man named Grant took care of me - articulated he had never been on the register or the prep line and he’s usually the guy who bakes the pizzas - he was incredibly professional, personable and friendly - promote him ahead of peers - he will be successful and is an asset to this organization - ps the pizza is very very good“
