Always great food, fresh and prepared as you request. The staff is quick and efficient, I always look forward to a wonderful meal here.
Me and my family have been eating here and enjoying that wonderful food for over a year. I have never been disappointed.
As a New England’er (aka a Yank), you can’t get a better chowder even in the North. Food is fresh, creative and delicious. It’s a hidden gem - don’t let the shopping plaza deter you from enjoying incredible taste for your pallet.
Hit and miss spot. Drinks and calamari were good, salmon served cold and burger was very lame. Not worth the money.
Cafe Style Family Fresh Seafood!
Went on Saturday night when very busy. Our server left a lot to be desired. Ordered appetizers and he forgot to place order, when reordered center was not cooked. Wife not a seafood lover ordered Hamburger to pink to eat. Will probably not go back.
Tasty, and reliably good food/service. Consistently pretty wonderful.
I've been to LI Cafe many times that were wonderful. This time, no so much. Specials not on regular menu were obscenely over priced and we were not on informed before ordering. Also the service was very slow.
Overall a good experience. Service was rushed. Main course served too soon. Still in the middle of soup and salad. Never offered bread. Staff more interested in flipping tables.
Host was not very friendly neither was the server. She seemed to be overwhelmed with het tables.
Always a great meal. Our server, Reed, was attentive and wonderful! One of our favorite places in town.

Delicious dinner-flounder, oysters Rockefeller, fried shrimp, coconut cake. Only disappointment was they were out of soft shelled crabs. Jackie, our server, was attentive and delightful!
Delicious but a tad rushed. We were not quite finished with up our apps when our main courses arrived. Slow it down please.
Fried shrimp is the best. Sweet potato fries are yummy. I'll have to start going in the evening, also. Last time I was there, folks had come from Columbia just to eat there. It is an IOP legend.

2022: There is no finer seafood restaurant in the Charleston area, period.
2024: What a difference a year makes. What was once our favorite restaurant is now little more than so-so. Not sure what happened other than the owners rarely visiting any longer. Pretty sad.

We haven't been back in 20 some years and it is still the same awesome place we remember. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere, and service. Delicious food, lots of options. Great job Long Island!
