Food was excellent! There were six of us and not a single complaint! The grilled salmon was cooked exactly to order and was wonderful. Service was very good as well. Best to make a reservation; it is very busy!
Food was pretty good, but I wouldn’t come here again. Annoyed at the fact that I spent 75 dollars here just to eat lunch with my nine-year-old and left hungry. Had to order him two kids meals which is fine whatever it’s not the first time I’m not mad about that but my flounder lunch was the smallest portion of flounder I had ever gotten a restaurant in my entire life. The fried oysters and flounder were, once again, delicious! There's something special about Long Island Cafe where locals and vacationers can enjoy fresh seafood, excellent service, and a laid-back, coastal atmosphere. There have been changes over the years, some good and some great, but last night, we were impressed by the energy and attentiveness of everyone working. The manager always makes us feel like family. Highly recommend Sunday brunch as well! We'll be back...
