“Wow! We joked pulling into the parking lot of the Hotel that "we will probably end up at that huge restaurant before the weekend is over" because from the looks of things there wasn't much else around less a Wendy's and a Waffle house... But instead of it being the "Last Resort" it was actually FANTASTIC!! The reviews were great so we decided to give it a try. Being from Florida I was honestly skeptical about a seafood restaurant in Clinton SC... But we went for it!! The food was Fricken Fantastic!! We had frog legs, scallops (huge fresh scallops as good as any I've ever had!) AND Jumbo shrimp... It was a damn good meal! I'm not sure how they are doing it... But these folks are serving up some of the Best Casual Seafood I've had in a while! If your in Clinton - Just go there... Thank me later.

I gravitate toward the combination plates with white rice and cheese wontons, always ordering extra wontons. The spring rolls and steamed dumplings are also exceptional, but the cheese wontons stand out with their perfectly crisp texture and generous, creamy filling.

For soup lovers, this spot is a dream. The Tom Yum Soup is a personal favorite, packed with shrimp, mushrooms, lemongrass, basil, and onion in a creamy, flavorful broth. It’s my ultimate comfort food, especially when I’m feeling under the weather. The Egg Drop Soup is equally delicious and never fails to hit the spot. Whether we’re dining in or taking our meals to go, the quality and care in preparation shine through every time.

Service at Japan Diner is stellar. Pickup orders are handled quickly through the drive-through window, and dining in is just as efficient and welcoming. With its fantastic food, friendly staff, and convenient location near Presbyterian College, Japan Diner has truly become a beloved staple for us. Highly recommended!”

“I've been going to Wise's since I was a young kid. Always consistent in taste and value! The same food since 1972. If a family business stays open serving just two days a week, they have lots of love from people. No, not fancy but just good rustic bbq, family style seating. I drive 50 miles to come here. Only get there maybe 2 times a year. But worth it.”

“We got the combo plates. They come with fried rice and egg roll. I got sesame chicken & my son got general tso chicken. He also got an order of pepper steak to go for later. We ate in. The portions were seriously huge & piping hot. The food was so flavorful - really delicious!! Sometimes when I order sesame chicken the chicken tastes like it was fried in old oil - but not here! The breading was perfect & light. The egg rolls were also light, crispy, and delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh. We will definitely go back!! Very close to campus & convenient!!”

“I went in to place a big order for a birthday party and they definitely delivered. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was great. They definitely will get my service again. You all need to check them out.

Parking: Parking is available with about 14 parking spots. They're in between another building but parking is no problem.”

“I ordered a stuffed crust ultimate supreme pizza tonight for dinner.. It was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! My granddaughter ate the sausage and most of the mushrooms off the pizza first. She said they were the best! We also ordered pepperoni crazy puffs. So a scrumptious!”

“We were traveling and stopped to eat. We love Zaxby's so it was an easy choice. I have to say, though, that this was the best Zaxby's we've ever had. The fries were cooked well and perfectly seasoned, and the food was delicious. They do things right at this location. My kids were happy that the shakes were back too. They still don't have them at our local restaurant.”

“We stopped by this Wendy’s while on a road trip to TN. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was very clean and our food was perfect. I inadvertently left my purse there and didn’t realize it until we reached our destination over 3 hours away. When I called, not only did they have my purse in their safe, but Cynthia took the time to mail it to me. I can’t say enough about how incredibly generous she was!”
