Railway Restaurant

We hosted a birthday get-together here and Lisa and her staff were GREAT to work with. She was able to accommodate us in a separate room and set-up a miniature version of the same buffet served in the regular dining area. She also made sure we had our own server dedicated to our group and he did an excellent job of making sure we had everything we needed. Good food at a reasonable price in a building that was at one time a railroad station. Trains still go by within a few feet for those interested in trains. There is a bar available and the wait staff is very friendly and courteous. Plenty of seating and free parking is available including handicapped accessible parking and entrances.

My mom and I chose Railway Restaurant while in Lake City for Artfields based on the ratings from Yelp. For those who find themselves in Lake City but aren't from the South, this place is typical of the restaurants I remember going to as a child in Sumter, SC.
