Decent atmosphere but great food. Better than average value considering how expensive everything has gotten. $70 fed ten adults with thoughtful ordering. Very helpful over the phone. Very quick turnaround. Super nice in person. I would definitely recommend the China House based on this experience. Also try the beef on a stick... Awesome!

Absolutely greatest food ever, polite friendly service, great for takeout, has tables and chairs but not a place to eat in at.

The food is nothing to write home about. It was pretty average. Below average is the experience. Not friendly. The place has not been updated since it opened. NO DRINK CUPS. I ordered a tea and came in the same quart cup the soup comes in. I asked for a cup and she gave me the same type but is was a 1/2 quart soup cup. The kind that has that hard plastic ring around the top. Not for drinking. Then I asked for ice......NO ICE. What kind of restaurant doesn't have ice?? If you don't have ice or cups, just don't make tea. Provide bottled tea like your other drinks.
Remove the faded hangings, get cups and ice and a fountain machine, update the paint, fix the broken ceiling tiles, clean the grease off the ceiling tiles, make it look like a real business, and try to be a little more friendly to you customers. Nobody likes to go in a business and feel like they are bothering the staff when they are trying to buy something and spend money. That is kind of what you want them to do right? So act like you appreciate it and not like its a bother.
As soon as another chinese restaurant opens in this area, this place will be in trouble. It won't take much to get all their customers so I would take this criticism to heart and make some improvements.

Hate to vent and rave hear but have ordering from the same Chinese restaurant for the last 18 years. I know they switched to owners. A couple years ago, but went in to get food and house platter Used to come with 2 boxes of food. Now it only comes with one and for 3 boxes of food $45. I think that's a little absurd. Won't be going back there. Basically, they tried to compact it into one box and calling it too. Half the food for seems like double the money.
I guess it's a part of the growing pains. Everything is going up.
I only had one bad experience ordering the sweet & sour chicken. The chicken was dry, seemed freezer burnt. But I've been back ordering other products. I like the food especially the boneless spare ribs & egg drop soup.

Food was great for the price, good if you have a slim budget and want to get full on some decent food. Solid nice proportioned meals for 2 people around $32 after my tip is actually nice and the service was professional.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! They have increased their prices to the point its not worth it and it was $50 for 3ppl..... they charged me to sub fried rice for white rice 3.25 extra when its 3.95 for a full side! They also charged almost $5 to sub noodles for rice. I spend a lot of money here and When I asked them she shrugged her shoulders at me and took it out the bag....I will never spend my money here again and suggest everyone check their receipts! Also the quality of the food is better elsewhere
3 star overall rating due to 2024 price increases. Before the pandemic it was roughly $30 for 3 meals. From 2020 to 2023 it was roughly $40 for 3 meals. They really packed the food into the black plastic containers and so an order lasted 3 healthy portioned meals of good protien, veggies and rice. Now in 2024 3 meals can run you $60 if you are not careful. They now up charge $2.25 for pan fried rice, nothing in the rice when you used to have the free option between white or fried. All prices have gone up about 30% in the last few months since Jan 2024. And today's meals Apr 2024 were not as full in their containers. They used to pack the rice in and the paper cube was maybe 3/4 full of fluffed rice. And the sweet and sour pork and chicken containers were also only 3/4 full. So now what would have lasted us 3 meals per order may last us dinner and lunch the next day of more limited portions. If i am going to pay $60 for 3 adulta to eat i am not going to go for Chinese takeout. We could go have Longhorn Steakhouse.
