Love their pimento cheeseburger!!

My husband and I visited from Augusta because he saw the eating challenge on youtube and wanted to give it a try. I immediately loved the atmosphere. The 50s theme is over-the-top as any 50s themed diner should be and we immediately were greeted by multiple employees. Once my husband told them he wanted to do the challenge, they had us move to the bar and started his burger right away. I'm pretty sure every staff member chatted with us at least once and everyone was so sweet and genuine. And they all seemed to have a good working relationship with each other - I know it's normally a toxic term for a workplace, but it really felt like family, and we felt included in that. Needless to say my husband didn't finish his burger and gave up just to order a concrete. I had the chicken basket and it was great! I have a gluten allergy so having the option for grilled tenders made it even better! Thanks to everyone working at Hwy 55 for making our day awesome!

It’s always great time when we eat here. Cooks are top notch, food is always great also the service is outstanding and the owner really shows that he absolutely genuinely cares for his employees and his customers.

I have always enjoyed every visit with this place! The owner and staff make you feel like family! I also have personally seen them accommodate a bigger group and with ease! They are fair and if they are swamped with customers, they do their best to seat everyone in the order they arrived The owner always puts others first and makes it affordable to take the family out for a hot meal! Kid friendly too! We appreciate everyone at Hwy 55!

Absolutely awesome place. Local owner makes you feel like home. The food is priced very reasonable. The portions are great and the food is really good. We really love this place. One of our favorites.

I dont know how anyone could possibly leave a bad review , first off the food is phenomenal. Fair priced & the portion is fantastic.
The owner is absolutely awesome, I can guarantee, if you have any issue or problem..the owner will do his best to make it right.
Him and his wife do so much for the community! Keep doing great guys. We will definitely be back!
