Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Pretty good spot. Very traditional burger joint, but did well with allergies considering. I was fairly impressed. Kind of a classic diner vibe.

Tonight was our first time there. Super busy as expected (National Hamburger Day) but the staff were all fantastic. I love the constant please and thank you between the waitresses and the cooks. Everyone seemed friendly despite the rush and provided great service. We will be back.

My contacts had a greasy film on them from dining-in at Hwy 55. Ventilation is horrible, feels smokey & greasy. Can’t dine-in at these type places. Food was ok, not great. One waitress taking orders, running register, delivering food, needs more help. No refills on tea offered.

Edit: Well I went back to Hwy 55 with my daughter, a week after posting the below review. This time I tried The Moose chicken sandwich and OMG, STOP IT, IT'S SO GOOD! I'm glad to report that the service is still the same, friendly and warm as ever. This place will be in permanent rotation.

Original Review : The burgers are great, handmade and juicy. The toppings were plentiful and the onion rings were delicious. The staff is absolutely amazing and I love the playlist !

I have been here several times. The service has been great each time. The food is good but not outstanding. I give it a 5 because it is better than any fast-food burger place and in my opinion, the best burger in White Knoll. I would go just for the staff. They are so friendly that going there just makes me feel better.

This place looks like your generic chain style burger joint that sells flat burger like objects, but looks are deceiving in this case! I was truly surprised when my order came. The burger was a decent size, there were plenty of fries, and I got some free ice cream since it was my birthday.

Great service, great food, and fair pricing. Two thumbs up!

Awesome burger! Came in for family night, can’t beat an $8 burger combo. Food came out quick, everything was hot, and delicious. Will definitely be back!

I absolutely love Hwy 55!!! It's such a retro atmosphere, and the staff is always super friendly! Their burgers are incredible! Don't forget the milkshake! I highly recommend eating there if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed!
