“This is a small, quiet family bar/grille spot just off the lake. I had the tri-tip fajitas, and they were EXCELLENT. Not only the fajitas themselves; the beans on the side were delicious whether eaten solo or with the fajita, and the pico de gallo was extremely fresh and on-point. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended!“

“Decent food, good service and a nice locals place. In my opinion, the recent remodel sadly turned it from having the feeling of a cool corner bar with a slightly rough-arpund-the-edges appearance, but still a super welcoming place, into a church bingo hall.“

“Kayla D was a great waitress. She has a genuine people pleasing attitude. We go there weekly and we always ask to be seated at a table she is serving. I recommend this resturant to anyone interested in good food and service.

“The food was great, but service was a little slow. When you’re serving more than 1 person in a party, the food should come at the same time (unless it’s a HUGE party, of course). Nonetheless, It was just two of us and our meals were served 15 minutes apart. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and I was a little disappointed.“

“11 of us came to town for an LSU game. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like regulars. I cannot say enough about the staff. Meagan, Brianna, and Jayson were amazing. We visited several times during our stay. If we ever come back to town, we will make Calloway’s a must. And, the food was amazing! Don’t miss the wings!!“

“We catered goat biryani for my mom’s dua, and I have to say I’m very impressed by Persis’s service and thankful to them! the food was delivered on time, they gave us a great deal, and it was absolutely delicious, everyone loved it, I would highly recommend catering from Persis!“

“My friend came into town and I was on my way taking her back to the airport. We needed a quick place to grab a bite because her flight was delayed. I decided to get the burger. Wow! Totally amazing. At this location their burgers are fresh, never frozen! You can definitely tell the difference. I'm not a big fan of Applebee's I won't lie. But that burger deserves ALL five stars!!!!!“

“Always has good food. Atmosphere is awesome especially when a band is playing. Sports are always on the TV. Pool tables to play. I don’t care for the smoking outside on the patio too much but I respect that it is a pub but you can’t smell any smoke inside which is great. A+. Plus the cooks are attentive to your orders which is rare these days!!!“

“If your are looking for a nice laid back spot that is different from the norm yes this is it. Yet the food is amazing, best philly and wings I can think of. I’m a country boy and they even have hotdogs one they the best in town.“
“This place is what my wife has affectionately refered to as a "church of bars". Everybody here is friendly. The owners, the barkeepers, and the customers are all great. There is almost never any trouble. Since everybody knows everybody and everyone are friends, if you start trouble, you start trouble with the entire place. They have live music often. My favorite is Shrek's open mic night on fridays where everybody is more than welcome to play and even one of the bartenders gets into it and drums along either on his djembe or an upturned bucket. I have never once had a bad time here. The prices are among the lowest in the area and the people mame it an awesome spot to hang out.“

“I have been dinning at this lcoation for years and i can say the service is the same dinning in or taking it to go. Amazing atmosphere and professional staff. Its usually packed around lunch or dinner time but there service never slows down. I have never waited long for my order its always fresh and delicious. My favorite meal is the bourbon street steak with the shrimp parmesan topping with onions and mushrooms ugh just amazing. i have tired other menu items as well the spinach and artichoke dip is very delicious and cheesy. Their apps are good i would recommend trying the appetizer that includes each one like a smapler. They also have amazing burgers, my second favorite dish is the Bourbon Street Chicken with onions and shrimp. you can choose which side you want im a big rice and potatoe kinda person. Now the dessert menu is also good my favorite is the blonde browine. Hands down this is one of my favorite restaurants to dine in.“

“We celebrated my husband's birthday with friends and family. We stayed for 2 hours. Had an absolute blast. Layla was so sweet and showed us all the safety guidelines. She was just so welcoming. The guy at the bar area was also wonderful but I didn't get his name. 2 lanes to ourselves in the back area with a restroom beside us. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank yall for making our night. We really ha e to make an effort to visit more ofter. Such a fun night, we won't soon forget“
