“My husband and I ate at Higher Ground for the first time Monday. We had the fried mushrooms for an appetizer and I had the pimento cheeseburger and he had the bacon double cheeseburger and seasoned fries. The food was amazing and delicious. The waitress was attentive had a sweet personality and gave great suggestions on what to order. It was a very cool temperature inside to eat on a hot day! I highly reccomend this place! Very clean inside! We will be back!”

“The Daily Grind Café is such a gem in the most unexpected place. We are on vacation and we passed a gas station with fried chicken and hot dogs on the menu; little that we knew down the road from it was an elegant bistro. Contemporary, clean, slick, amazing ambiance, the food was delicious and healthy, the espresso - a pleasant surprise tastes better than the best chain espresso coffee. The owners Will and Courtney are inviting, pleasant, young people with a vision. Will was very professional, friendly and very accommodating.”

“This is a basic, small sandwich shop in a strip mall. A great selection of really fresh and delicious sandwiches and salads. They also offer a Grab & Go cooler with chicken salad, pimento cheese, casseroles and more. Don't forget the cookies! Thank you Caitlin for helping us make a yummy selection. AND visit the adjacent frame shop and see clever original artwork from local artists. We enjoyed chatting with Kari.”

“This restaurant serves up delicious and fresh Chinese foods. My favorite dish is the Coconut Shrimp. The shrimp are always fresh-tasting and the sauce is never too sweet. The entire dish is just the coconut shrimp, so the portion is huge. The sweet and sour soup is excellent, as is the mixed vegetables in brown sauce (add any additional veggies you like). The place was a dine-in restaurant pre-Covid, however, they are now just an order ahead for takeout.
Whether you’re visiting in town or you’re a resident, this is the place to get some good Chinese food.”
