“Met with friends for dinner at Mako’s. Glad we made a reservation because it was a busy Thursday night! We started with the Bayou butter shrimp and steamed littleneck clams and they were amazing! Although tempted by the specials, three of us ordered the scallops over risotto and one ordered ribeye. They were all fantastic! For dessert we ordered the blueberry cheesecake, pistachio cream brûlée and a fruit cobbler. Our server was attentive and funny! The owners stopped by to check in on us! It was such a great night! One of the best meals we’ve ever had! We are already making plans to go back next week!”

But i will say, Cutty's is really that good, the crust is thin and has a great fold (always important).
The sauce was rich and a perfect amount of cheese.

“Went to Clark’s tonight for dinner. We Had calamari, house salads and beef short ribs with Parmesan risotto and a Demi glaze sauce. Those short ribs were absolutely delicious. We also shared a bottle of wine. Great atmosphere, food and service. We had tibi as a server and he was great!”

Curley’s Cafe is truly one of those hidden gems you’re grateful to stumble upon. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest, most attentive waitresses — you can feel the genuine hospitality. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a family-run blessing.

I tried the new “Frankie’s” sandwich and WOW — it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were on point, and I paired it with some crispy fried okra that hit the spot. My husband went for the double cheeseburger, and it was so massive and flavorful he could barely finish it!

The owner Matt and his family clearly put their hearts into every part of this place, from the kitchen to the table. You can taste the love and care in every bite. Curley’s isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We never miss coming here on our 5-6 visits to Little River/Myrtle Beach each year. The staff is welcoming, friendly, courteous and efficient. The restaurant is clean. The buffet is plentiful with a variety of southern specialties and the food is kept fresh by the attentive servers. “This was a great meal! Very local spot with great, friendly service. We got breakfast sandwiches for lunch. They were made to order and very good. You can tell they care about their quality as the man behind the counter asked if we liked our food. We will definitely be back if we are around!”

“We had dinner here twice this week. Really good happy hour food and drink specials, I just wish they didn’t end it at 530. Thought that was a little odd. We had grouper bits and buffalo shrimp. Then shared fried oysters and scallops. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our server/bartender was Matthew and he was awesome”

“Back in the spring I saw a Barbie cake they had made at a playplace. I was so obsessed with the cake I asked for the name of the bakery. I told my husband this what I want for my bday cake. Well come July I reminded him of what I wanted, but I changed my mind and said I wanted a Star Trek cake. I’m a Trekkie and wanted a themed birthday, but they don’t make decorations for it. This cake was perfect! It was the commanders uniform with gold pips and had the Star Fleet Academy motto written beautifully instead of happy birthday. They had never seen Star Trek before and did an amazing job. It was chocolate cake with salted caramel buttercream. THANK YOU so much for this cake. It made what was a sucky weekend awesome.”

“Nice place. If you’re looking for an Irish pub, this will fit the bill…. unfortunately they were not playing Irish music but instead American rock and roll. Good Irish decor. Food very good, but sandwich a bit on the small side for the price. Service excellent.”

“Billy kids/Maxwell‘s is one of the most family, friendly oriented restaurant that you could ever experience with amazing fix it yourself salad bar along with some amazing fresh made seafood, and steak sitting outside of that he has a bar as well with the most friendliest bartenders and regulars, along with the most magnificent owner you will ever come by the biggest heart and will give the shirts off his back to anyone needed. “I had an outstanding experience with the Bojangles in Little River, located next to Bell & Bell. I stopped by last week to see if they could accommodate a large catering order of 320 biscuits for a work event on July 2nd, to be picked up bright and early at 6:30am. Jesse, the manager, was incredibly helpful—he made a quick phone call and confirmed that it wouldn’t be a problem. I followed up with a call on Monday, June 30th, just to reconfirm the order, and the team once again assured me everything would be ready on time. When I arrived this morning at 6:15am, not only was the entire order already prepared, but it was also ready to be loaded. The staff was extremely friendly, and one of the ladies even came out to help me load everything into my vehicle. That kind of service goes a long way, especially so early in the morning. I’m extremely grateful for their professionalism, friendliness, and reliable customer service. Highly recommend this location for both individual visits and large catering needs!”
