“Met with friends for dinner at Mako’s. Glad we made a reservation because it was a busy Thursday night! We started with the Bayou butter shrimp and steamed littleneck clams and they were amazing! Although tempted by the specials, three of us ordered the scallops over risotto and one ordered ribeye. They were all fantastic! For dessert we ordered the blueberry cheesecake, pistachio cream brûlée and a fruit cobbler. Our server was attentive and funny! The owners stopped by to check in on us! It was such a great night! One of the best meals we’ve ever had! We are already making plans to go back next week!“

The buffet is plentiful with a variety of southern specialties and the food is kept fresh by the attentive servers. Curley’s Cafe is truly one of those hidden gems you’re grateful to stumble upon. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest, most attentive waitresses — you can feel the genuine hospitality. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a family-run blessing.

I tried the new “Frankie’s” sandwich and WOW — it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were on point, and I paired it with some crispy fried okra that hit the spot. My husband went for the double cheeseburger, and it was so massive and flavorful he could barely finish it!

The owner Matt and his family clearly put their hearts into every part of this place, from the kitchen to the table. You can taste the love and care in every bite. Curley’s isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience. We’ll definitely be back!“
