“A great place for breakfast and lunch and soon dinner, the food was fresh and delicious, the Servers and staff were awesome and such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Tucked away from rt. 9 it is a hidden gem in a strip mall behind Taco Bell. It's more of a local spot but worth finding.“

“Our server was Corvin, she was great and the interactions with Tracy was hilarious, totally loved it!
The food was sooo delicious as well. We both had an omelet with the hash brown casserole and toast.

“I posted this same review on Google. I just want to make sure I spread the word about this establishment. This place is absolutely awesome! Great pours, great food, great service, great bartenders. This is the place for everything from a chill lunch, to dinner, and even a twilight beverage. Jojo and her bartending partner were incredible this evening. Every time we are visiting the area, we make sure this is a stop we make at least 3 or 4 times!“

“Initially we wanted to dine in and catch a couple of football games. When we walked in the place was a bit congested which was not a problem so we ordered the food to go. It didn’t take us long to figure out what we wanted from the various items on the menu. Every item on the menu sounded good.
We waited about 5 minutes for the waitress to take our order. They appeared to be short on staff, everyone seemed to be overwhelmed. As I sat there waiting for my order, there were other patrons who had been waiting a while for their orders. We heard the waitress call out a particular order but no one came forward to say that was their order. Maybe about 3-4 minutes later a staff member asked a patron if she was waiting for an order. She politely said yes, named the items she ordered and come to find out the order she had been waiting on was the order the waitress called out. It was pretty loud in the restaurant, more than likely the reason the patron didn’t hear the waitress the first time.
With all the busyness, I noticed much of the staff were not taking sanitary measures when going back and forth between tables, making drinks etc. I only saw one person wash their hands. I saw no one wipe down the bar after 2 patrons left and 2 people immediately take their spot.
The food wasn’t bad. The burgers were huge and seasoned well and I couldn’t believe how big the onion rings were! There were 2 of them that probably equaled a medium sized portion at BK. The Cole slaw wasn’t that great, bland and I never had Cole slaw with raisins in it. If it wasn’t for the fact that the restaurant felt a bit unclean to me, I probably would go back for the peanut butter creme pie“

“We stopped here after our dolphin watching cruise because it was close by and we were starving! Oh my goodness! I’m so glad we stopped. I had the BEST crab cake I have ever had. That’s saying a lot because I’m from Delaware and grew up on seafood. I’m very picky about crab cakes and don’t usually order them. But the description said Maryland style crab cakes so I took a chance. Best choice ever! They were amazing! My husband had the clam strips that was the special of the day and they were also amazing. So many he couldn’t eat them all. We shared a bowl of seafood bisque that was also delicious. Our waitress even split it into 2 bowls for us when we told her we were going to share. Food was served quickly and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend stopping here!“

“Our waiter Quentin was possibly new? I ordered a Hashbrown, bacon, cheese, scrambled egg bowl. I ordered my eggs over easy on the side instead of the scrambled which I do every time we go, it has never been an issue. He charged me an extra $3.22 for substituting over easy eggs. When I questioned him instead of ask someone he insisted on the extra charge. If that’s the case everyone that has waited on us over the years is making a mistake?“

“Stopped for brunch and enjoyed the crab benedict. Decent priced food and very delicious. The kids enjoyed the egg sandwich and burger with fries. Friendly staff and would recommend. Daily specials will keep you coming back to try new things.“

“Our family had the best experience at The Grumpy Monk at Broadway on the Beach! Dawson was excellent - we came back again two days later and requested his section…. He greeted us at our table with the same drinks we had the previous time. Wow. Now that is serving your customer! The food did not disappoint either. Fried pickle chips and the burgers and wings were amazing. We will definitely be back a third time!“
