“Excellent food. We have been there about 30 times since the restaurant opened and each time the food has been delicious. Love the flounder, ribs, salmon, burgers, fries, onion rings, pork cracklings, Rueben, pork chop, chili and the collard greens. Great place. The owner is a great guy and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The outdoor renovations are fantastic to have dinner and listen to the music.“

Parking: If you have a trailer it can be difficult to park but we could find one spot and took it.

“Great food. Great beers. But more importantly, GREAT employees. Stopped in for lunch today for the first time and sat at the bar with my husband. Had the pleasure of being waited on by Jordan and Cody - super sweet and made some terrific recommendations (nachos, brussel sprout salad and Sway beer, I'm talkin' 'bout you!) Food, atmosphere and wonderful service notwithstanding, here's where they REALLY stood out: An individual had a medical emergency while we were there and the staff were quick to react. Providing assistance while also maintaining the dignity and privacy of this person, they also went the distance to continue service to customers and trying keep "business as usual" to patrons (once they knew the person was being tended to); it's tough when something like this happens and they did a great job deflecting attention. It was very, very nice to see...recognizing these are servers, bartenders and other staff that aren't trained for this kind of thing. Oh, and to the table of patrons who demanded 50% off their bill because they had to "witness the event": I pray this doesn't happen to you or someone you care about, and I hope you get the day you deserve. Well done on all accounts, Crooked Hammock!“

“Great little burgers, spicy fries, etc. More on the menu than I expected. A double sounds like a lot but buy two, they’re smallish. Whoever decided to put oval shaped burgers on a round bun was off his rocker. Even two burgers don’t quite cover the bun yet the grilled flavor and taste of the burgers is unparalleled. Don’t know how they do it. Best onion rings ever for a fast food place. We ate so fast there was nothing left to photograph. Sorry. Good hush puppies too!“

“Husband & I went in for lunch while vacationing. Was able to walk right in to a table, and was served immediately! Food didn’t take long from the kitchen, & we definitely devoured it!! Burgers were out of this world! Would definitely recommend, & will definitely be back to try more burgers!!!“

“We never miss coming here on our 5-6 visits to Little River/Myrtle Beach each year. The staff is welcoming, friendly, courteous and efficient. The restaurant is clean. The buffet is plentiful with a variety of southern specialties and the food is kept fresh by the attentive servers. Ordering off the menu is an alternative with daily specials for breakfast and lunch posted. We look forward to seeing the familiar faces each trip. Thanks. Evi and staff!“

“Loved Dustin or Devon? our server. He did great. Took care of our pup and that always makes us happy. The food was really solid, the only reason it isn't 5 star is because they were out of one menu item. Didn't ruin any of the experience but it means it's not "perfect".
