“Happened upon this diner while camping at nearby Modoc COE campground, and so slad we did! Very friendly staff, and even though a bit short-staffed that day, you'd never have known it if they hadn't mentioned it when we entered. The food was indeed delicious; I had the fried shrimp, my wife had the flounder, and the shrimp and fish were cooked perfectly, with a light fry coating. Very generous portions, and the sides were all good. There is a full bar, and a decent selection of bottled beer and wine. There is plenty of parking in the strip shopping center that contains the restaurant. Nearby diners were raving about the quality and quantity of the food, and they were doing a brisk take-out business while we were there. We'll be back!!“
“For a local mom and pops place this is the place to be!! Visiting for a wedding near Point West there is not much to do so decided to go for a drive! Read the reviews and glad we did! The drive was worth it! HAND CUT FRIES and a menu that ANYONE COULD find something! Our waitress was such a sweetheart and truly enjoyed our lunch!“
“First time ever at a Huddle House. We both had the breakfast bowl it was really good. It was in-between lunch and dinner so not very busy. It was getting busy before we left. Our server was attentive but not too much. She had a wonderful sense of humor. We would definitely return to this one when traveling through.Parking: Parking on site. There is a shopping center next door if you are traveling with an RV or MH. It has a huge lot.“
“The food was great. The service for lunch was awesome. The service for breakfast not so good the next morning. I had to get my own everything. The girl stayed in the kitchen, hollering back and forth with someone or on her phone in the corner.“
“Oh my! What a gem! This is a MUST GO and eat at restaurant! Chef Cookie has a wonderful palate for favorable food. Today is SEAFOOD day and what a delightful meal we had! We had shrimp (fried and boiled), fried - catfish, & oysters (don't usually eat them but they were good), potato salad, coleslaw, Italian green beans, baked beans, fried okra, AMAZING hush puppies, and AMAZING peach cobbler!
